The SSI Decompression Diving Specialty course shows you how to dive beyond no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational diving equipment and a single scuba tank. You will learn and practice how to effectively use the functions of your dive computer, such as gas exchange or gas integration, as well as remaining air time and ascent time. Using these computer functions will quickly become routine for you so that you can make safe dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification, allowing you to explore stunning deep dive sites or large wrecks without the limitation of no-decompression limits. This course allows you to learn about different diving topics before deciding on a full specialty course. It's a great way to learn what your Advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. The Advanced Open Water Diver course gives you the opportunity to try out five specialties. After a detailed briefing with your SSI instructor, you will complete one open water training dive for each specialty. This introductory diving course gives you the opportunity to discover all specialty courses. You can complete all specialty courses at a later date at any time and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training dive counted towards this. These impressive structures attract an unusually high density of marine life and offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in history while diving. Wreck diving is an unparalleled experience, and the SSI Wreck Diver Specialty course provides you with all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver. Through a combination of theory and confined water exercises, you will learn how to safely conduct non-penetration dives on wrecks and artificial reefs to a depth of 30 meters. You will also have the opportunity to practise your wreck diving skills during open water dives. This will allow you to enjoy wreck diving with confidence and get the most out of every dive.
