The SSI Divemaster level recognizes candidates who have the knowledge and training to perform the duties of a certified assistant. Duties include assisting SSI instructors in the conduct of entry-level and continuing education courses. II Candidate Requirements Minimum age: 18 years Minimum of 60 logged open water dives with a minimum of 40 hours dive time. Must possess at least the following SSI certification(s) (no equivalencies allowed): Science Of Diving Possess the following SSI certification and be in active status (no equivalency certification allowed): Professional Dive Guide III. Authorizations in active status In addition to the duties of a Professional Dive Guide in active status, the Divemaster in active status may: Act as a certified assistant for all SSI recreational diving programs. Assist on open water training dives by accompanying no more than two (2) students at a time on underwater excursions. Qualify as a Training Specialist for the SSI Ecology Specialty programs. Participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course Content/training course will be arranged separately. What should I bring? own pro level diving equipment including gloves and hood. Swimwear Towel Writing utensils Dates: Dates under Dates overview Minimum number of participants: 3 persons Included services: Activation for the SSI Online Training (digital kit, incl. teaching material, logbook and much more) Theory training at least 6 open water dives Tank fills Internationally recognized digital certification (D-Card)
