All around the rock are various typical Seychelles species, from large schools of fish to sharks (nurse sharks), turtles, and many lobsters and crabs. Green Turtle Diving Center, 1310 Porto Novo - Santo Antão Secret garden (★4.6) 35 Minuter Northeast of Porto Novo, we find “secret“ . Its a sandy bottom slop ,with all the rocky part on your right. Deepest part around 30 meters, and average dept around 15 meters. A lot of small holes full of marine life. We finsih the dive in a isolated rock, usally with turtles livin there. BLUE SEA DIVERS, MAHE Brizare Rock, Mahé (★4.4) This site is 35 minutes from the coast by boat into the open sea. The ride can sometimes be rough. Depths are from 12 to 30 meters and this is often a drift dive in current with a lot of underwater life. SCUBA NOSY BE, 207 HELL VILLE Tanikely Plage des Amoureux (★4.4) Diving site located at 12km from Nosy be, 35 minutes by boat. It is a park, there is an entrance fee of 20 000 ariary.Very beautiful diving site, very fishy and a lot of coral diversity Corail Plongee, 97434 Saint-Gilles les Bains Pain de Sucre (★4.2) Giving its name to a rectangular rock that has fallen from the cliffs and stands proudly on the beach, this site offers a reef tour on and in a platier cut by faults, canyons, arches and small caves, extended by white sand and numerous rocks of various shapes and sizes. BLUE SEA DIVERS, MAHE Marianne (★4.5) This site is beautiful with granite islands and depths from 12 to 25 meters. This is usually a drift dive with lots of black and white tip sharks, and many fun passages. Extra Divers Dahab, South Sinai Dahab Islands (★4.7) 5min drive from the dive center. Entrance via reef top, therefore only diveable at high tide and little wind. Two reefs reaching just below the surface (Islands) border a shallow, labyrinthine hard coral garden. One of the most beautiful dive sites in Dahab. BLUE SEA DIVERS, 0000 MAHE Ray's point (★3.9) 20 min from Beau Vallon Beach and 17min from Bel Ombre Marina. Mooring up in front of Anse du riz. Ray’s point is a beautiful reef along the granite rocks at a maximum depth of 17m. Sometimes light/strong current. Two beautiful wrecks next to each other: the first one at a maximum depth of 22m and the second one at a maximum depth of 19m. Sometimes light/strong current. BLUE SEA DIVERS, 0000 MAHE Aquarium (★4.3) 5 to 8 min to Beau Vallon Beach or 10 min from Bel Ombre marina. Anchoring on the sand just a little outside of the site. 3 bommies at 15 meters maximum depth on the edges. Sometimes light current on the surface, rarely current on the bottom. Whitetip Divers, 00000 PRASLIN Red Point (★4.1) Red point is situated at the southernmost tip of Curieuse island within the curieuse marine park. it is approximately a 10mins boat ride from the dive centre depending on the weather conditions. The dive site consists of big gigantic boulders submerged underwater and also some can be seen out of the water. 10-20m ScubaXcursion, 4180 Scottburgh Outside Edge, Aliwal Shoal (★4.3) This dive site has a minimum diving qualification of Advanced Open Water diver as the maximum depth is 27m and is only accessible by boat. Due to its depth, it is not suitable for beginner divers. Eduardo M. (#3068167) Ras Abu Soma (★4.4) The Somabay headland forms the northern end of Safaga Bay. The “Ras“ (head), is a steep wall that ends in the south on a 25m deep plateau, main current direction is coming from the north. On the plateau you can find ancient table corals up to 4m in size, and a steep wall. Mares, Janez Kranjc Banc des gorgones (★4.0) Banc des Gorgones is located not far from Ambatoloaka. One of the first dive sites discovered where an abundance of gorgonian corals were found close to the coast. SCUBA NOSY BE, 207 HELL VILLE Tanikely sud (★4.3) The Tanikely park is very famous, beautiful dive site, full of fish, very beautiful corals, in good health, moreover easy diving, not deep, for all levels. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Turtle Rock (★4.4) Turtle Rock got its name from a rock that appears out of the water at low tide and looks like a turtle. A simple, shallow dive site with a good chance of seeing turtles. Corail Plongee, 97434 Saint-Gilles les Bains Canyon (★4.3) A must-see site. This dive site is suitable for all levels. It is made up of ancient lava flows, colonized by coral. It’s a photographer’s delight, with both macro and wide-angle shots. Christine N. (#2837383) Ras Torombi (★4.1) At the entry point, there are several coral blocks ranging from 8 to 15 meters in depth, reaching almost to the surface.A beautiful coral garden with soft and hard corals. A marine reserve means no fishing and lots of fish. Fascinating steep walls and rock formations await us at this dive site. Mares Abu Dabab Garden (★4.3) Fringing reef with beautiful corrals and lots of colorful fish. Reef is in very good condition. Depth varies from 5 to 30m. Specialty of Abu Dabbab Garden is the area around the jetty where a small and a big lagoon, canyons and caves can be found. Mares, Janez Kranjc Cap la Houssaye (★4.5) The dive site is located in the Réserve Naturelle Marine de la Réunion.The site’s varied scenery will delight beginners and experienced divers alike. A coral reef, colorful and full of life, colonizes the rocks on the sand and the small drop-off. O Sea Bleu, 97434 Saint-Gilles les Bains Passe de l’Ermitage (★4.4) Formed by a gully that “hollowed out“ the coral reef, the pass is a place of exchange, rich in plankton and nutrients. Although visibility is sometimes uncertain, apart from the scenery, the food chain is in full swing, making this an unmissable dive! Particularly for these turtles and rays Mares Port Ghalib Sand-Oasis (★4.1) Entry and exit is via the jetty. From here there are two options. Either head north or head south to the Palace. The dive to Palace is a one-way dive. Whitetip Divers, 00000 PRASLIN Coral Garden (★4.3) Coral Garden is situated 5-10 minutes away by boat from Praslin. A reef type of dive surrounded by soft and hard corals. Depth is around 10-15 meters. Mares Criminal Rock (★4.3) Located north east of Praslin island this site is approximately 25-35 mins by boat depending on the weather conditions. The site consists of submerged granitic rocks. dive site depth ranging between 15-25 metres. Dive One Academy, Sharm El Sheikh Jackfish Alley (★4.5) A comparatively shallow site that is good for a second or third dive, Jackfish Alley has two enormous caves filled with shoaling glassfish. Depth: 6m to 20m. Rating: intermediate. Access: boat. Marcus M. (#2724513) Marsa Assalaya (★4.3) Well protected bay with entry from the beach, both sides of the bay with a beautiful and colorful reef. In the middle of the bay, there is a big area with seagrass. Magicdivers Kalawy, Safaga Ras Dudi North (★4.5) Part of the fantastic house reef at the Magic Life Hotel south of Safaga, right on the doorstep. The dive site can be reached comfortably from the hotel's own jetty. SCUBA NOSY BE, 207 HELL VILLE Banc des Fusiliers (★4.3) The “banc des fusiliers“, a site located behind Nosy Sakatia, about 10 km away, not very deep, between 19 and 14 m. Very good for a second dive. nice for macro. Mares Milimani North (★4.6) The site starts with some beautiful bommies randomly placed across the white, sandy bottom. The reef itself starts with plenty of hard corals around 5 meters and slowly continues to around 17 meters. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Passe de 3 Bassins (★4.4) 6 - 30 meters - On this site, you descend along the reef to the sand on which are scattered several coral heads sheltering a multitude of different species. Mares, Janez Kranjc Coral Gardens (★4.5) Coral Gardens is home to coral bommies teeming with life, which act as mini cleaning stations with shrimps, crabs, and cleaner wrasses. The coral bommies develop into beautiful coral gardens filled with healthy hard coral species. BLUE SEA DIVERS, MAHE Booby Island (★4.3) This island is located 20 minutes from Praslin by boat. Depths range from 10 to 30 meters. This is a fund dive sometimes with current and a lot of big passages to explore. Aqualung Gasus Soraya (★4.2) This dive site is very easy to dive from shore and is one of the easy accessible dive sites between Safaga and El Quesir. BLUE SEA DIVERS, 0000 MAHE Whale Rock, Seychelles (★4.1) 15 min from Beau Vallon Beach and 17min from Bel Ombre Marina. Anchoring on the sand next to the rocks. Whale rock is a beautiful dive around granite rocks at a maximum depth of 17m. Sometimes light/strong current. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Ras Nasrani (★4.5) Ras Nasrani is a beautiful coral reef that can be access with daily boat trips or from the jetty. Two dives can be conducted from the entry point, one is toward the land (inside the reef) and the other is outside the reef where a mild current might be encountered. Whitetip Divers, 00000 PRASLIN St. Pierre (★4.3) St. Pierre island is located north of Praslin. This dive site offers diving for all experience levels. It is a very good site for beginner divers or experienced divers who would like to start with an easy dive. Depth ranges from 4-12 meters. BLUE SEA DIVERS, MAHE Albatros (★4.2) This rock is beautiful and sticks out of the sea. There are lots of fish to see and passages to explore. This site is located near the sister islands. Depths range from 12 to 25 meters. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Nemo City Gabal El Rosas (★4.3) Diving site is just 5 minutes from the beach by zodiac. Here you can end the dive with the accompanying zodiac or dive all the way to the shore (diving time on average 50 minutes). There are about 10 anemones, hence the name Nemo City Whitetip Divers, 00000 PRASLIN Scorpion Rock Praslin (★4.2) Located East of Praslin island and approximately 20-25mins by boat from the dive centre, time varies based on the weather conditions. Scopion rock is a gigantic granitic boulder, at low tide you can see the top of the boulder sticking out of the water. Depth ranges from 10-25 metres. Jerome C. (#3701811) Fayrouz Hous Reef North (★4.2) The house reef is easily accessible from the Extra Divers Fayrouz dive center via a jetty.The north side features a reef wall with many hard and soft corals, as well as two coral blocks. Sandy bottom with coral blocks merges into a mini wall. Typical topography of the fringing reef of El Quseir/Marsa Alam Aqualung Kinasi Pass (★4.5) Perhaps the most famous of all the dive sites in Chole Bay is the mighty Kinasi Pass and its ‘chicken’ pinnacle. Well known for its exciting drift through rocky topography, this site houses caverns and impressive rock formations. PLONGÉE SALÉE, 97427 ETANG-SALÉ Petit Tombant (★4.6) Coral plateau and drop off close to the coast, less than 5 minutes by boat behind the barrier reef. Dive for beginners, training courses up to Divemaster level. Maximum depth 18 metres. Sabine S. (#1307593) Wadi Lahmy Azur, Housereef (★4.3) In the North you find beside the main reef nice coral blocks covered with small marine life. In the South is our lovely Anemone City in a max depth of 12m. The House Reef is fitting for all levels. The depth is between 12m and 40m. Beautiful dive on around a seamount at a maximum depth of 13m. Sometimes light current, sometimes strong current. BLUE SEA DIVERS, 0000 MAHE Conception Rocks (★4.1) About 35-40min from Beau Vallon beach and 33-38min from Bel Ombre marina. We back roll in the water and the boat comes to pick us up wherever we finish the dive. Beautiful dive around a small island at a maximum depth of 22m. Usually strong current.
