In total there are 13 platforms between 5 - 40 meters. Additionally, there is a buoyancy cage and a statue made of cylinders at the dive site. Aqualung Achensee, Hechenberg (★3.4) The highlight at Hechenberg is the wreck of the Dodge, an old car sitting at about 40m. To get here you cross over a gutter past a Madonna statue. A little deeper below the Dodge, you will find the corresponding cargo cover. This dive is recommended for advanced and technical divers. Adventure Diving, 4813 Altmuenster Sonnstein (★4.3) This is a deep dive at over 80m. There is a steep face that continuations the small Sonnsteins. There are beautiful overhangs and small grottos. Attention: This dive is only for safe and experienced divers. Scubanautic Tauchsport, 3100 St. Pölten Unterwasserwald (★4.1) The dive site Underwater Forest offers a very nice dive with an average depth of about 20 meters. It is unique to see tree trunks lying on the bottom, which are like Mikado sticks partly on top of each other. ATLANTIS QUALIDIVE, 4693 Desselbrunn Explorer Tour / Deep Trip/ 8 Höhlentour (★4.4) This site can be described as a summary of the other three guided tours. Here you can see an underwater weir, four tunnels, mighty in canyons, wedged giant trees, many fish, and a rock arch created by thousands of years of erosion. ATLANTIS QUALIDIVE, 4693 Desselbrunn Inselrunde (★4.2) The entrance and exit is from a nice sunbathing area. After the detailed briefing, tunnels, underwater canyons, wedged trees, and the 2 underwater houses, lots of different fish and crabs await you. The highlight here is the pump house that was flooded in 1922. Scubanautic Tauchsport, 3100 St. Pölten Erlaufsee Schwabbelland (★3.7) The Erlaufsee is a mountain lake at the foot of the Gemeindealpe not far from the village of Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. The border between Lower Austria and Styria runs through the lake. The ARGE DiveCard is mandatory. Diving Weissensee, 9714 Stockenboi Weissensee Ost Hausriff (★4.4) This house reef on the eastern shore of Weissensee is located directly in the Stockenboi lido. The dive site is terraced and falls slightly from the edge of the shore. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Wandl (★4.0) This lake dive descends to 30m deep along a sloping shore. There is a platform at 8m, great for training. In the shallows, there are remains of an old jeep about 10min to the right and a huge boulder at 30m. Franz H. (#3581633) Waldbad Anif (★4.2) The site has very clear water with visibility of more than 20 meters. The underwater landscape is beautifully overgrown, but there are few fish, including large perch. Max. Diving depth in the bathing area 4 - 5 meters. Diving in the “north wing“ is only permitted in the mornings, outside of wakeboarding hours. One2Dive, 4907 ZK Oosterhout Planseecamp (★4.0) Chargeable sunbathing lawn for divers; separate chargeable car park; because of the campsite always well-disposed holiday guests, relaxed atmosphere; beautiful mountain and lake scenery. The attractions (up to 32m depth) are close to the entry point, therefore comfortable diving; drifting fishing lines possible. ATLANTIS QUALIDIVE, 4693 Desselbrunn Long Trail, Traun River (★4.2) A nice, long drift dive. Here you cover a distance of about 2 kilometers downstream. Depending on the current, this dive can take between 30 (at extreme high water) and 115 (at deepest water) minutes. Scubapro, Stephen Frink 3 Tannen (★3.5) A great location for newer divers and training dives. This site has a pebbly surface that drops off rather steeply. To the left of the entry area you will find rocks at 5m. Further on you will find debris such as car tires, a car door, a discarded oven. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Attersee (★4.1) The Attersee is one of the most beautiful diving lakes in the Alpine region. With its numerous, well-signposted dive sites, it is suitable for beginners and advanced divers and offers everything from shallow to deep diving. SCUBADIVING Wiener Neustadt, 2700 Wiener Neustadt Weißensee (Tauchbasis Yachtdiver) (★4.3) The dive site is located directly on the north shore of Lake Weissensee, directly in front of the vacation apartments of Haus Sonnleiten you can dive relaxed to a depth of 11m. The bottom is characterized by beautiful vegetation, partly interrupted by light sediment. Depth: 99m Length: 11,6 km Sea level: 930m SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Vorderer Langbathsee (★3.8) Attention: Diveable from May to the end of September with proof of dive card. Max depth id 33m. Shore structure is shallowly sloping with mostly good visibility and some tree trunks to see. Tauchsport Steininger, 2700 Wr. Neustadt Neufelder See - Ostseite (★4.0) The artificial lake (lignite was mined here) near Vienna offers many training opportunities for beginners and advanced divers, especially at the TB Lorenc entrance; currently 2 5, 2 8, 12 and 20 meter platforms, 2 buoyancy tubes and many new sights sunk by dedicated divers. Tauch-Sport-Vienna, 2491 Neufeld A.D. Leitha Neufelder See, Einstieg Tauch-Sport-Vienna (★4.1) In front of the area of Tauch-Sport-Vienna and the shore the bottom is slightly sloping, which leads to a platform at 5m (heading east) and to a Neptune figure and a 2m-long shark made of plastic at about 7m. From the platform at 5m lines lead to a platform at 10m (heading south) and 20m (heading east). Scubapro Surfcamp (★3.4) This site descends up to 15m with an interesting, sloping bank. Many eels can be found at night in the overgrown bank area. Tauchshop Klagenfurt, 9020 Klagenfurt Schlossvilla (Wreck) (★4.0) On the beautiful south shore of the Millstätter See there is a wreck at 32-36m depth to dive. The access is regulated, information is available at the Tauchshop Klagenfurt. Unser Tauchshop Graz, 8020 Graz Schwarzlsee (★3.5) You can get in at the diving base at the Schwarzlsee either via the beach or from a jetty. In the lake, which can be up to 12m deep, you can encounter small fish as well as perch, pike, zander, catfish, black amur and carp. DIVE & FUN Tauch Center Szente, 9523 Villach-Landskron Liafels, Millstätter See (★3.7) On the north shore of Lake Millstätter See there is a small car park, which offers a comfortable entrance to the two diving routes possible here. Strong vegetation and a beautiful steep face are the main features of this spot. The vegetation in the shore zone offers a perfect hiding place for many fish. Sharktime-Divecenter, 4020 Linz Pichlingersee (★3.5) Lake Pichlinger is an artificially created recreational area in the southeast of Linz, in the district of Ebelsberg. It includes the bathing lake, the green belt with various parking lots, restaurants, and snack bars, playgrounds and a camping site. Scubanautic Tauchsport, 3100 St. Pölten Achensee, Schwarzenau (Campingplatz) (★4.0) The dive site Camping Schwarzenau at the Achensee is a very versatile dive site, where you can visit greater depths quickly and where you can see very beautiful shore formations in shallow water, which are great for diving. BEYOND DIVING, 85598 Baldham bei München Blindsee (★4.1) North of the Fernpass, at almost 1100 m, lies the 25 m deep Blindsee Lake. High fish abundance, sunken landscapes of roots and trees in combination with unbelievable visibility allow for fantastic dives. Tthere is also a lot to discover for the macro-lovers. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Ofen (★4.2) The Ofen dive site is a sloping dive site down to about 40 meters, then a steep wall begins which drops to over 100 meters. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz ÖWR Hausboot (★4.1) The dive site ÖWR Hausboot is a rather shallow dive site, but there is a lot to see, such as a houseboat, pile dwellings, as well as various sailboats. Underpressure Watersports, 4852 Weyregg am Attersee Under Pressure Weyregg (★4.0) A bar marks the exit at 5m. Easy access to the lake via steps, then a spacious shallow area with a depth of less than 2m. There is a training platform at 10m, an air-filled bathtub and several buoyancy rings. Below the platform is a boat at 20m. The targets are largely leashed. Mares U-Boot (Wreck) (★4.1) At about 55 meters there is a complete submarine (6-10 m long) to explore. Access from land is via Camping Grabner (Pike Bay). This site is only suitable for experienced divers and tech divers, the dive without scooter takes about 15 minutes. Mares Neufelder See (★3.8) Dive site Neufeldsee Strandbad. Located at the southern end of the Neufeldsee. Access from the parking lot about 100m. Two jetties are available. There is a platform at 5m deep. The shore area is shallow, then steeply slopes down to >8m. WC facilities are open in the winter. Steven v. (#3579447) Urisee (★3.7) In the middle of the Reutte nature park region lies the Urisee bathing lake. With visibility between 3 and 20 m at a depth of almost 40 m, sunken trees, various fish, and smaller sights offer a lot of variety. Exercise platforms allow exercises to be carried out in a nature-friendly manner. Scubanautic Tauchsport, 3100 St. Pölten Seebad (★3.1) The dive site at the Lunzersee is a steeply sloping dive site, where you can reach almost 26 meters directly after the entrance. Furthermore, there are several platforms that are arranged one below the other. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Nöhmer (★4.1) With a max depth of 20m, the bank structure is a shallowly sloping bottom. There are platforms at 5m and 10m that can be used for training. Special features include a beer table that has been screwed onto the large platform. Franz Joseph Z. (#2917409) Kohlbauernaufsatz (★4.1) The Kohlbauernaufsatz dive site is a shallow sloping dive site that leads to an approximate depth of 36 meters, where there is also a wooden tile with a wooden toilet house. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Twin Towers (★4.0) At the entrance you will find a small sailing dinghy at a depth of 12-14m. From here, toward the left, you will reach two vertical trees at 18m after a few minutes. This is the so-called Twin Towers. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Hotel Das Traunsee (★4.0) Hotel Das Traunsee has a max depth of 30m. The bank structure is fairly shallow with a steep face. You can find platforms at 5m and 10m. Special features include a VW Bus at 12m. Enter from under the parking lot at the landing stage. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Schlierwand (★4.0) Schlierwand is a freshwater dive site with a max depth or 35m. The site consists of a shallow band with steep walls. The walls are made clay with beautiful formations. You dive from the entrance to the left. You will find the steep face around 10m deep. ATLANTIS QUALIDIVE, 4693 Desselbrunn Traunfall (★4.1) Traunfall dive site is in the reservoir area where depth averages 8m. Visibility can get up to 30m. The shore structure is steep to the bottom and you can see many pikes and an old roman salt road. Mares, Janez Kranjc Maria Wörth, Wörthersee (★4.1) At this dive site, you will find a nice steep wall. Due to the depth, this dive site is only suitable for experienced divers. The entrance is via a parking lot and a small slope that leads into the lake. Tauchshop Klagenfurt, 9020 Klagenfurt Klopeinersee Strandbad Süd (★4.3) Lake Klopeinersee is located in the south of Carinthia. The entrance is on the southern shore in Strandbad Süd and offers a varied dive between artificial trees and some sunken attractions. From a boat to a replicated dugout can be found here. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Segelboot Dixi (★4.2) An excellent dive on Attersee with max depth of 30m. The shore structure is a sloping bottom with a platform at 5m. At 8 meters there is a covered pile dwelling, a speedboat wreck at 22m, jetty at 17m, and an air-filled bathtub. Mares, Janez Kranjc Alpenaquarium Grüblsee, Präbichl (★4.4) The attraction of this dive site are certainly the countless fish that approach the diver extremely trusting and curious. Treasure divers are also catered for here. All kinds of objects such as statues, treasure chests or cannons are scattered around the lake. Tauchshop Klagenfurt, 9020 Klagenfurt Maria Loretto, Wörthersee (★3.9) In the exclusive Loretto lido in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee there is a diving center. There are artificial fixtures such as carriages, buoyancy control playgrounds, tree trunks, and a practice platform at 3.5m deep. Tauchshop Klagenfurt, 9020 Klagenfurt Längsee Strandbad (★3.6) At the Längssee there is a great beginner diving area. The entry at the footbridge of the public beach is easy and you can discover a lot along the shoreline in depths up to 7/8m. DIVE & FUN Tauch Center Szente, 9523 Villach-Landskron Cap Wörth Pool (★4.5) Training pool for exercise lessons. Size 8x13 and 2,2m deep. Ideal for all pool units of beginner programs and for training sessions for further education. The water temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius. DIVE & FUN Tauch Center Szente, 9523 Villach-Landskron Silbersee Ranch (★3.4) Located to the west of Villach in the immediate vicinity of the Drau, the Silbersee is an artificial body of water that was created in the 1970s by extracting gravel from the groundwater. There is a platform on the eastern side of the lake and the "Silbersee Ranch" restaurant on the southern side Mares BMW Dixi (★3.8) Directly in front of the entrance, you will come across an old car wreck at a depth of only a few meters. Due to its shallow depth, it is also very good for beginners to dive. From there you can continue your dive on the left shoulder along the shore and eventually come across the remains of a boat at 13m. SCUBABOARD, 4020 Linz Europabad (★4.0) The dive site is located directly in the Europabad. (Access only possible when the lido is open) WC & bathing buffet open in summer in good weather. There is also a small diving center (Scuba Consult) with filling possibility. (normally only open at weekends and in summer) Mares Weißenbacheinlauf (★3.9) This lake dive site has a max depth of 20m with a sloping bottom. There are platforms at 8m, 10m, and 20m to practice skills. Special features include games for divers are attached to the platforms, otherwise, there is debris in the stream inlet to explore. Aqualung Achensee (★3.6) At just under 400 m, between the Karwendel Mountains and the Brandenberg Alps, lies the largest lake in Tyrol: the 130 m deep Achensee. The excellent water quality not only ensures impressive visibility, but also an above-average diversity of species. 12→
