The Corridor (Wreck) (★4.4)

The Corridor Wreck Trek is a drift divers paradise This area is full of amazing animal encounters including Goliath Groupers, sea turtles, stingrays, and in the distance a lurking reef shark. Some of the wrecks in this line up were sunk some time ago so they are covered in corals and sponges.

Coral Restoration Foundation Nursery (★4.6)

The Coral Restoration Foundation Nursery can only be visited with special permissions. Divers can take classes with the Coral Restoration Foundation and volunteer to help at the coral nursery.

Captain Arnos Reef (★4.2)

Huge schools of rainbow, midnight, and blue parrotfish off the west side. You will typically find green eels and nurse sharks under the ledges of this patch reef.

Dunedin Reef (★3.8)

The north part of the reef has a lot of concrete culverts and pilings. The South part of the reef is concrete pyramids with holes in them. The dive is around 30 feet deep.

Cannonball Cut (★3.9)

6 miles to the south of Key West is Cannonball Cut. This dive site does not have a mooring ball which makes it a good place for drift diving. This site consists of continuing fields of coral. Maximum depth is 18m/60 feet. This site is good for drift diving as well as lionfish hunting.

Bridge Span 12 (★4.1)

The Hathaway Bridge was originally built in 1929. The spans were from the old bridge that connected Panama City to Panama City Beach. There are 14 Hathaway bridge spans. The spans were sunk in 1988.

Eagle Ray Alley (★4.3)

Eagle Ray Alley is located between North Star and The Winch Hole dive sites. This shallow site consists of a large of sand channel that runs seaward from Molasses Shallow to Logan’s Run. The high relief coral ledges on either side of the channel have deep undercuts offering protection for a variety of marine life.

Crater (★4.5)

50-90’ – Starting in a sand pit at 50’, follow the spur and groove coral structures to the drop off at 90’. Large coral structures with beautiful schools of grunts. Explore the west side of the pit where we frequently see a large school of Southern sennets, typically over 100 in the school.

Aquarium (★4.4)

Aquarium is a gorgeous dive site located on Molasses Reef. It always has a plethora of fish life around the high-profile coral formations. While current can sometimes be a factor to consider here, the coral is high enough to hide behind for the majority of the dive.

Hole in the Wall (★4.3)

Located near the winch hole on Molasses Reef on mooring ball 8 on the North end of the reef. Small, natural swim through in the reef structure that has an average depth of about 20 feet.

Fingers Reef (★4.2)

Classic Florida Keys spur and groove reef formation with large sand channels alternating with high profile coral fingers. An ideal site for seeing spotted eagle rays.

Anglin Pier Ledge (★4.0)

The reef here runs parallel to the shoreline (north and south) and is a great shallow second dive when heading back from the deeper wreck dives of South Florida. The north end of the reef has some great habitat off to the west of the main ledge as well.

Mike’s Wreck (Hannah M. Bell) (★4.4)

One of the many wrecks of Elbow Reef, the Hannah M. Bell was for many years known as Mike’s Wreck. The shallow side is about 18 ft deep with the deeper side being about 30 ft. Perfect for reef divers, new divers, and a relaxing dive on an iconic wreck.

Carysfort Lighthouse Reef (★4.4)

Carysfort Reef is one of the more remote reefs in the Upper Keys and is the largest Sanctuary Protected Area in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. It’s 2.2 square miles and, at the shallowest area, has a large lighthouse.

Hamm (★4.3)

This small patch reef is surprisingly packed full of life. In addition to huge schools of tropical fish, you will find sharks, eels, lobsters, crabs and more under the ledges on the outskirts of the reef.

Winch Hole (★4.4)

The Winch Hole is a spectacular dive site that has high profile coral around a large pit. A massive winch it lies in the pit and makes for great photo opportunities.

Rube Allyn Reef (★4.1)

This 35-foot barge was previously used in the reef program. It is made of 600 tons of concrete from the demolition of the Old Clearwater Pass Bridge, plus culvert and light poles. Many tall pyramid structures including “Twin Peaks” which is at about 80 ft.

French Twist (★4.4)

French Twist is one of many sites included in the French Reef Sanctuary Protected Area. It’s in the shallow part of the reef so depths range between 15ft and 30ft and has some excellent swim throughs.

Flower Garden (★4.4)

The Flower Gardens sits right off West Palm Beach and has a shallow ledge that contains both an inside and outside drop. The outside ledge has several fingers and starts at 40 feet then slopes down to 70 feet.

Circle of Heroes Memorial (★3.9)

The Circle of Heroes is an underwater military veterans memorial 10 miles off the coast of Dunedin Beach, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. It is the first underwater veterans memorial. It was dedicated on August 5, 2019, and currently has 12 6-foot tall statues at a depth of 40 feet underwater.

Deep Reef - Looe Key (★4.5)

At 210 feet in length, the The Adolphus Busch Sr. stands upright and completely intact in just 110 feet of water. The ship that put Big Pine Key on the wreck diver’s map. This island freighter was purchased by the local dive community in 1998 with the generous assistance of Adolphus Busch IV.

The Horseshoe (★3.8)

It’s called the “Horseshoe“ located at Mile Marker 35 in Big Pine Key. It was an old quarry which the dugout coral was used to build the Overseas Highway. At about 30 ft/10m deep in the middle, there is an ambulance and a small boat. Divers and Snorkelers use the location during poor sea conditions.

South Double Ledges (★4.3)

South Double Ledges consists of a twin reef running North/South. One of the ledges rises five feet from 85 feet deep while the other is about 8 feet high from 65 feet. The end of the reef resembles a large circular bowl that is populated with fish and corals. A very good drift dive.

Morada (★4.2)

20-25 foot dive – This is a very purple reef (“morada” means purple in Spanish). From the flowing purple gorgonians to the swaying purple soft corals, this site is a customer favorite if you like a lot of color. This site is also home to Bonnethead sharks for the better part of the year.

Alligator Reef (★4.3)

NW and SE of Cheeca Rocks, Alligator Reef Sanctuary Preservation Area (SPA) bridges the shallow reefs of the Upper Keys and the deeper reefs of the Middle Keys. This rectangular SPA is a small bank reef protecting a spur-and-groove system, reef crest, and a portion of the northeast rubble ridge.

LSM Barge 1 (★4.0)

GPS coordinates: 27.857350, -83.030550 - 235’ WWII Navy Landing Ship Module, deployed in 1976. Can be found off of the southern end of the Indian Shores Artificial reef. Also known as LSM 1 or the Cable Wreck or LSM Wreck.
