HERAKLION DIVING CENTER, 70014 Hersonissos, Heraklion Prefect St. George (★4.1) At the end of the bay of Hersonissos there is a wall type reef we call St. George, named after the church near by. The dive site is about 300 meters long and we split it in 2 parts. Shallow and Deeper. Shallow part starts from 6 meters depth and goes down to 12-13 meters. Deeper part is from 12 to 19 meters. HERAKLION DIVING CENTER, 70014 Hersonissos, Heraklion Prefect Kori (★3.8) Kori is a rock that is seen out of the water, in the middle of the bay. From there starts a reef that goes max about 11 meters. Is a nice easy dive for all, recommended for the very beginners.All levels. Max Depth 11 meters. Duration 45-55 min. Access boat or long swim. HORIZON DIVING CENTER, 71500 HERAKLION Shinaria Beach (★4.2) Schinaria beach is located 33km south of Rethymnon, in the wider area of Plakias. The bed of the sea in this area is home to a wide variety of marine species and colorful varied flora.Deep wall diving, underwater caves, big groupers and sea turtles make Schinaria one of divers’ favorite paradises. H2O Diving Center, 85100 Rhodes Rhodos Kalithea Bay (★4.1) Kalithea is a Historic place a few km south of Rhodes City and a few more north of Faliraki resort. Actually the bay is located inside the monument of Kalithea completing the iconic scene of the area! HERAKLION DIVING CENTER, 70014 Hersonissos, Heraklion Prefect Amphora Reef, Kreta (★4.2) You can find pieces of various amphorae here. Amphora is an ancient container with a certain characteristic shape and size, from as least as early the Neolithic Period. Amphorae were used in vast numbers for the transport and storage of various products, both liquid and dry, but mostly for wine. HORIZON DIVING CENTER, 71500 HERAKLION Mononaftis, Kreta (★4.5) This is an ideal place for shore dives and is a confirmed diving park. Many ancient amphoras from Minoan civilization are seen here. You can hit several depths from a few meters to 40 meters deep. An ideal site for a try scuba and advanced level divers. It has a rocky bottom with Posidonia meadows and sand. PAROS DIVING CENTER, 84400 PAROS Aquarium (★4.1) The name tells it all, a fun little dive with a max depth of 12 meters, lovely swim around, some great rock formations, lots of marine life, especially damselfish, and some nice historical Amphora. HERAKLION DIVING CENTER, 70014 Hersonissos, Heraklion Prefect Posidonia Reef (★4.2) Named after the seaweed Posidonia, you can find a lot of it around this dive site. There are rock formations that indicates some ancient human activity. An easy dive for all levels. Mare Sud Diving Center, 70200 Timpaki Kali Limenes (★4.7) That an depth of 11 meters there is a boat shaft covering an area of one acre. The shipwreck hosts tropical marine life such as lionfishis diving point is 13 miles from the base of Mare Sud and is accessible by boat and by car. It is a sandy beach with a maximum depth of 12 meters. At 150 meters off the coast and HERAKLION DIVING CENTER, 70014 Hersonissos, Heraklion Prefect Heraklion Diving beach dive (★4.2) Dive site in front of Heraklion Diving Center. Easy enty from the shore, suitable for beginner divers and Try Scuba courses. Max depth that can be reached is 8-9 meters. HORIZON DIVING CENTER, 71500 HERAKLION Byron I Shipwreck (★4.7) The ship wreck is lying at the depth of 12-16 m. and suitable for all levels of divers. BYRON I was a cargo ship carrying 11.000 tons of sugar. The bad weather in the area caused the wreck of the cargo ship on January of 1985, which turned the salty sea water temporarily into “sweet“ water. SCUBAKRETA DIVING HOLIDAYS - G.GEORGANTAS KAI SIA , 70014 Crete Hersonissos Octopus Garden (★4.6) A beautiful Mediterranean reef with lot’s of small marine life, schools of small fish, octopus, nudibranchs, moray eels and occasionally some sea turtles. SCUBAKRETA DIVING HOLIDAYS - G.GEORGANTAS KAI SIA , 70014 Crete Hersonissos Grouper’s Field (★4.1) A beautiful dive in a typically Mediterranean deep landscape. Despite its appearance of a flat reef, there is many smalls holes hiding surprises. The luckiest may encounters huge groupers living in the area.Generally clear waters with visibility up to 20 m. Maximum diving depth of between 18 to 20 meters. Aqualung Tsambika Moutain Amphitheater (★4.0) At the bottom of Tsambika mountain, south side of Kolymbia Beach, mooring with a blue buoy, can get quite windy at times, and bumpy sea, hence why not suitable for beginners. CRABDIVERS DIVE CENTER, 85103 RODOS Kolymbia harbour (★4.1) Easy location, mooring by the beach, start in shallow water, current can be found just outside of the bay, changing often. Rocky dive site, you can find a little cave. SCUBAKRETA DIVING HOLIDAYS - G.GEORGANTAS KAI SIA , 70014 Crete Hersonissos Golden Reef (★4.3) 2 complete differents path possible for this dive full of micro underwater life. Pay attention to your surrounding there, you may have some surprising encounters.The lucky ones may meet the turtle living in the area.
