Hon Mun Island offers favorable diving conditions throughout the year, with water temperatures typically ranging from 26°C–30°C/79°F–86°F. The island is known for its clear waters, with visibility often reaching 10–30 meters/33–98 feet, making it an excellent spot for divers of all levels.

Diving is possible year-round; however, the best conditions are usually from March to September. During October to February, divers may encounter stronger winds and currents, which can affect visibility and comfort. It's advisable to plan dives outside of these months for the optimal experience.
