It is a wonderful dive site for all levels of divers, especially for beginners and dive courses, plus those who just want to relax and snorkel in a calm bay. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Manta Point , Makassar Reef (★4.6) Makasar Reef also called Karang Makasar or Manta Point is one of the best meeting sites for manta rays. Beginner divers and snorkelers can navigate this dive spot, offering a gentle drift dive at a depth of 10-15 m. You can dive at Manta Point all year around. Peter S. Mares, Janez Kranjc Biodiversity House Reef (★4.4) The reef in front of Biodiversity Jetty and continous all the way to Batu Lima starts at 2m dropping down to 20m. The reef has many hidden areas for species to hide Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Tulamben Drop-Off (★4.5) Drop Off is slope down where on one side is a wall down to a deep water, mostly stay on maximum depth at 30 meters where reef is very nice well covers with soft coral. To dive is here is beach entry, as a diver should always check the SPG how much air left before turn swimming back to exit point. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Halik, Gili Trawangan (★4.6) A steep slope on the north side of Gili Trawangan, from 5m down to 24m with a series of gullies at the bottom. A series of gradually deeper ridges running parallel to the beach is located between 25m and 40m. Mares, Janez Kranjc Baong Penyu / Turtle Neck (★4.4) Located near Padang Bay, this harbor is in the eastern part of Bali. You take an outrigger boat from this harbor to just right behind Padang Bay’s Hill, about 15 minutes cruise, then you arrive at a dive site. Boat entry/exit. Dive along the wall. PT. BAHARI INTAN ABADI, 80224 Denpasar Selatan Baung Penyu Bay / Turtle Neck / The Wall (★4.4) A combination of coral reef with sandy rubble that forms a long slope and meets the wall at the end of the dive. The wall rises from a depth of 25 meters to 3 meters below the surface. Usually the dive will end in the blue lagoon bay with soft coral formations at a depth of 5 meters. Amed Jepun Divers, 80852 Amed, Karangasem Japanese Shipwreck (Wreck) (★4.4) Easy access with porters waiting for you, but the pebble beach can make the entry and exit difficult if there are waves. The small wreck from 1m to 8m deep is nice for snorkelers and freedivers but very limited for scuba divers. The coral scenery is really beautiful. Be careful of upwelling currents. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Mirko's Reef (★4.4) On the east end of Meno you can find this long sea mound which stretches almost the whole length of the island. A beautiful deep dive, famous for the beautiful coral, where you can find lots of cool small stuff like glass shrimp and porcelain crabs. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Deep Turbo (★4.5) A great deep dive just off the east side of Gili Trawangan with spectacular topography. At 30 m this site has a sandy bottom between large sea mounds. These sea mounds range in size and have an interesting variety of overhangs and outcrops, the largest of which go up to about 18 m deep. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Pengah Kecil (★4.5) Pengah Kecil is a rocky island located in Central Komodo and offers plateaus, steep walls, and sloping reefs. Currents can be strong, thus diving is chosen according to the position/direction of the current, and always in the part not exposed to the current. A great site for macro marine life. Maximum depth is 30 m. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Three Sisters Komodo (★4.3) The Three Sisters are three large rocks all connected to each other, all covered with corals, blue sponges, and are teeming with life. You will dive in the shade of the current and finish the dive on the peaks which top at 6, 7 and 8 meters respectively. You may be lucky enough to spot rays crossing on the top of the pinnacles. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Canibal Rock Komodo (★4.3) This site was named after having seen two Komodo Dragons fighting and the winner eating the loser on the closest beach. This dive site is the Heart of the Nusa Kode, or Jurassic, as locals like to call the south of Rinca. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Yellow Wall Komodo (★4.5) Yellow wall is located in the south area of Komodo National Park. Bottom contour consists of a drop off and steep slope mix. Bottom composition is coral reef and rubble. This is an advanced level dive site with medium to strong currents. Maximum depth is 40 m. Mares, Janez Kranjc Manta Point Sangalaki (★4.4) 60 minutes from Nabucco Islands and 30 minutes from Nunukan Islands is Sangalaki Island. Southeast of Sangalaki is Manta Point. The dive site is very shallow and has a sandy bottom. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Castle Rock Komodo (★4.6) Castle Rock is an action-packed pinnacle located in the north of Komodo National Park. The pinnacle is positioned in an open body of water and the castle-like peak is submerged a few meters below the water’s surface. A sandy and rubble area starts at a depth of 5 meters followed by a sloping bottom where you can find various kinds of fish living on the ocean floor. BALI FUN DIVING, 80224 Denpasar Selatan Gili Tepekong, Candidasa (★4.4) This site has large boulders that create overhangs and tunnels in depths of 5 to 12 meters, followed by a slope that meets the sand at 35 meters on one side and a steep wall that reachs more than 40 meters. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Gili Air Slope (★4.4) Off the west side of Gili Air is a sandy slope known for its coral bommies, soft coral, and macro marine life. Amongst the marine life here you can find schools of fusiliers and snappers. This is a great site for every level of diver. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Simon’s Reef (★4.5) A great deep dive that offers a variety of corals not seen at the other dive sites. At 30m, this site has a sandy bottom between large sea mounds. These sea mounds range in size and have an interesting variety of overhangs and outcrops. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Manta Point (★4.5) Karang Makassar, or Manta Point as it’s more famously known, is Komodo National Park’s biggest dive site at approximately 3km long by 400-500m wide. It is a shallow drift dive site with a beautiful coral reef to the south, dunes to the north, and a rubble coral bottom in between, scattered with manta cleaning stations. This site is usually dived in combination with Sabolan Kecil. It offers relaxed diving, suitable for check-out dives, courses, and snorkelers. A great plus of Sabolon Besar is the white sandy beach where you spend your surface intervals. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Crystal Rock Komodo (★4.7) Crystal Rock in the north part of Komodo National Park is a pinnacle in the open sea that is submerged at high tide, and is home to a wide variety of marine life. With its challenging currents, Crystal Rock offers a thrilling experience and great visibility at around 20 m. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo China Shop (★4.4) China shop is located at northern area of Komodo National Park. MANTA DIVE, Gili Trawangan Shallow Turbo (★4.5) This site is a shallow plateau with a slope located to the northeast of Gili Trawangan. The dive site offers a wide array of marine life and coral and is famous for its big schools of fusiliers, red tooth triggerfish, and long jaw mackerel. Peter S. It is a gathering place for manta rays to filter the food collected due to the pressure of the waves from the open ocean. CALYPSO DIVING BALI, 80052 Amed Bunutan (★4.5) Usually done by boat, this dive site is mostly a drift dive. It can be done from shore, but you will need to walk up the hill back to the car for pick up. CALYPSO DIVING BALI, 80052 Amed Lipah Bay, Bali (★4.6) Entry from a sandy beach shore line, you will swim toward a slope where you will start your dive. Start off by swimming to the right, then follow the ledge to come across a few coral blocks with lots of colorful fish.
