This well-preserved wreck sunk in 1994 and is teaming with marine life. It is a large sandy bay, starting at 16 m and dropping down towards the reef where resting sharks and stingrays like to stay. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Maafaru Caves (★4.5) Wonderful drift dive in a frenzy of colors. This reef is like an open subway tunnel cut on the side. Soft corals in many different colors hang everywhere in the tunnel. In the middle of the canal, there are coral blocks with a good chance of gray reef shark (when there’s current). The perfect place for a current specialty! DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Vandhoo (The) Wall (★4.4) A very nice drift dive over several hundred meters along the island of Vandhoo. The top reef made of hard corals drops from 4 to approx. 8m, sloping down to 15m, then a 250m long wall that drops to over 30m +. On the TOP reef, between June and November, is a cleaning station for Mantas. DivePoint Meedhupparu, 960 Meedhupparu Beriyan Kuda Thila (★4.6) Because of its current, BKT is reserved for experienced divers or is dived in times of low current. Aqualung Takatuka Land (★4.2) Takatuka Land is a playful landscape of coral formations, pinnacles, and sandy valleys. The terrain offers a varied, almost maze-like dive with gentle currents and good visibility. Its moderate depth makes it suitable for most divers, especially those who enjoy slow, detailed reef exploration. Including a small wreck. Sub Oceanic @ Le Méridien Maldives, 00000 Malé BOAVA THILA (★4.7) A 10-minute boat ride to the north and we arrive at Boava Thila. Located north of Le Meridien and in the inside atoll, the dive site is suitable for beginners and experienced divers alike. The reef features large patches with beautiful black coral . DivePoint Rannalhi, South Male Atoll Ram Faru Thulu (★4.5) Two Thilas inside the atoll with many nice overhangs at the north and south east corner between 10 and 20 meters.
