This dive site starts at 12 meters (40 feet) and ends around 18 meters (60 feet). Scubapro Gregory (★4.4) A 33 m long transport barge, positioned upside down on 15 m of sandy bottom, south of Long Bay. The boat is located not far from a small drop off with turtles roaming it and shoals of sergeants major. Scubapro Anchor Point (★4.2) Anchor Point is a dive site with a coral-covered French anchor dating from around 1750 and said to be the most beautiful anchor in the entire area. Aqualung Hangover (★4.5) It is a chatty spot located in the pristine marine reserve. Swim through a maze of lava flows with small and large overhangs that give this spot its name. This spot is spectacular for all divers. Mares Man O War Shoal (★4.3) Just east of Diamond Rock, this similarly steep rock structure lies in the sandy bottom at 70 feet with twin peaks rising to 15-20 feet from the surface. A multi-level dive profile works best here by circumnavigating the base and slowly spiraling upwards between the two peaks in a figure eight fashion. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Éden Beach Point (★4.0) This is located at the resort of the same name. Right between Front Porche (31) and Harbour Village. So you can let the dive flow into one of the other 2 spots. Mares Customs House (★4.4) This reef is often described as a “loaf of bread“ for its distinctive rectangular shape. The sloping reef starts with a fabulous sandy area, home to garden eels and both southern and roughtail Stingrays. Aqualung Playa Frans (★4.5) Playa Frans is a fishing beach with some houses. A beautiful sloping reef with lots of life and also fun for snorkeling due to the large shallow areas. Mares Small Wall (★4.4) Lots of purple sea fans and large hard coral formations. This beautiful dive site is opposite Barbara Beach across the channel into Spanish Waters. It is not an easy entry from shore but with its full overgrown coral reef, definitely worth it. Mares L’âne rouge (★4.7) This dive site is close to Colombier Beach and Colombier wall. Shallow water to start, then you will discover a pinnacle full of life between 20m and 10m deep. Mares Delphins Reef (★4.1) This is the house reef of the resort of the same name here on Bonaire. It is a beautiful sandy plateau before the wall starts at 15m. Very nice facilities for divers. Mares, Janez Kranjc Long Beach (★4.3) The first dive site just East of Piscadera Baai entrance. Protected from the South East waves, calm surface the majority of the times. with a nice drop-off with sponges and pencil corals, shallow waters with beautiful formations, also nice for snorkelers. Ouanalao Dive, 97133 Saint Barthelemy Le tombant de colombier (★4.6) Wonderful wall with a lot of plants, corals, sponges, and fishes! It’s possible to see tarpons, stingrays, turtles and lobsters. Sometimes there is a little courant on this site, so perfect to discover the drift dive! Scubapro Weber’s Joy (17) (★4.5) Located at the “Witch’s Hut“. Good parking and easy entry from a stone path and across a sandy beach. Well sheltered. Great macro site. Lots of sponges. Mares Hamlet (★4.3) Located in Hamlet Oasis south of Dive Friends Hamlet shop. Marked with a pin. Can be entered from Cliff dive site (Hamlet Dive Friends) or From La Machaca dive site (Captain Don’s). Mares, Janez Kranjc Coral Nursery (★4.1) Site of the Saba Conservation Foundation Coral Nursery. There are more than a dozen coral “trees“ here that are propagation various species of coral, mainly staghorn corals. Diving only permitted here with SCF or SCF permission. Sandy bottom around 16 meters / 50 feet deep. Mares, Janez Kranjc Turtle City (★4.8) When you drive from Sorobon to the east coast, on the left side there is a deserted shrimp fishing house. When the fence stops, drive in on a sandy road. At the end you can park the car and walk towards the entrance, which is a shallow bay at the shoreline.
