Time for a boat dive! The wall here continues from 10 to about 40 meters. Klaus H. (#108569) Andrea II (22) (★4.3) An easily accessible shore dive location with areas of shade and parking not far from the entry point. This is a large dive site so it never feels crowded here. Aqualung Andrea I (23) (★4.3) Just down the beach from its sister site, the Andrea II, the Andrea I is most well known for its beautiful coral formations from the plate coral that call this reef home. Easily accessible from shore, this is a shallow reef dive and great for snorkeling and beginning divers. Mares, Janez Kranjc Chez Hines (39) (★4.3) This spot starts with a shallow reef, nice for beginning divers or snorkeling. For the more experienced divers, at about 37 meters the 2nd reef starts. Scuba School Bonaire, 0000CN Kralendijk Bonaire Punt Vierkant (41) (★4.2) Punt square is the beginning of the south coast of Bonaire. At this spot also starts the beautiful double reef. Dive over the first reef, to a depth of 25 meters to the next. Scuba School Bonaire, 0000CN Kralendijk Bonaire White Slave (★4.0) Named for the old slave huts located here. Easiest entry is from near the second hut. Cross a long sand bank to reach the coral area. Look for eagle rays in the shallows. Mares Ebo’s Reef (B) (★4.3) The reef is located on Klein Bonaire, so visit it by boat. It is named after Ebo Domacassé, (one of) the first certified diving instructor of Bonaire. Scubapro Joanne’s Sunchi (J) (★4.4) Joanne’s Sunchi (or Joanne’s Kiss) is a beautiful dive site with a deep dropoff. Along this dropoff where a lot of coral grows, there are sand ridges that extend to depth. SSI Service Center Southern Caribbean, Willemstad Playa Daaibooi (★4.7) A great shore dive accessible from a quiet, calm beach out of the way of most of the tourist action. There are plenty of parking spaces, lots of shade, and benches to set up your gear on. Although a bit of a swim, the reef is healthy a beautiful. Aqualung Fuikbaai / Newport (★4.2) Accessible only by boat (dingy from Fuikbaais or local dive shop’s boat). Drop by the navaid and check out the discharge pipe. Head against the current if present. Normal wall dive. SSI Service Center Southern Caribbean, Willemstad Klein Curaçao (★4.4) Klein Curaçao is 11 km/7 miles to the east of Curaçao which means a long boat ride and diving is often done during a day trip or in combination with a dive at East Point. Diving is possible all around the island but usually restricted to the north-east and south-west parts due to weather conditions. Scubaçao, Willemstad Playa Jeremi (★4.4) Playa Jeremi is a small beach sandwiched between two mighty cliffs. The cove is a sandy plateau which slowly changes into a beautiful coral garden. Divers should swim out until just before the blue line. The reef is a slope that you can follow in a northerly or southerly direction. SSI Service Center Southern Caribbean, Willemstad Watamula (★4.6) The best dive site on the west side of Curaçao, only accessible by boat. At both sides of the gorgeous hard coral reef are two sandy patches filled with large soft corals. The massive hard coral reef starts at 5m / 15ft and gently drops to 20 m/70 ft where it becomes a sandy bottom. Mares, Janez Kranjc Veradero Beach (★4.4) The area of Varadero, on the northern coast of Cuba just east of Havana, boasts great reef diving, wall, wrecks, night, cave, and deep dives. There are also spectacular snorkel spots as well. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Rocher du Diamant (★4.7) Le Rocher : The mythical dive in Martinique !!! Double dive to enjoy the enchanting setting of the rock! The dive is done at the foot of the rock, the water is clear and blue, the walls are covered with all the colors of the rainbow !!! Scubapro Airplanes (Wreck) (★4.3) A very unique dive, Airplanes is accessible by either boat or shore and boasts not one, but two decommissioned airplanes sunk as artificial reefs. The Convair 240 is a 40 seater aircraft 74 ft long sitting in 80 feet of water (it moved deeper than it originally was after a hurricane). Scubapro Hollywood Bowl (★4.2) Also known as Goulden Cay, the Hollywood Bowl is the dive site correlated to this government protected island and sits directly west of the island of New Providence. This site has been featured in several Hollywood films, hence the name, and is a great site for snorkelers and beginning divers. Juliet Sailing and Diving, 33131 Miami Bimini Barge (Wreck) (★4.3) This is a deep wreck off Bimini, in the Bahamas, on the edge of a drop-off. It attracts many pelagics and schools of permit and African Pompano. Prone to current and depths start at 76’ (23m) so advanced certification is recommended. Mares Davis Reef (★4.3) Davis Reef is one of the nicest reefs in this area. It’s known for an abundance of large green moray eels and a multitude of tropical fish. A great spot for night dives, new divers, and snorkelers. Also of special interest is the Buddha statue that was placed here years ago. Scubapro Three Sisters Cayman (★4.4) Three Sisters, located off Grand Cayman’s East End, features three towering coral pinnacles named Agatha, Bertha, and Cleo. An open-topped canyon near the mooring pin provides a direct navigation path to the first formation, with the third pinnacle notably leaning at a depth of 70 feet. Melissa H. (#2528645) Eagle Ray Rock (★4.3) Located on the edge of the big wall are massive coral heads and a sloping sandy bottom with a few canyon ways to swim through at the bottom of the mooring line. Sarah S. (#4020708) Molasses Reef (★4.3) Molasses Reef is one of the most popular dive areas in the Florida Keys. There are 30-33 specific dive sites located on Molasses Reef alone. The reef is shallow and very clear with lots of life, making it a great area for divers of all levels and snorkelers as well. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Anse Dufour (★4.4) Colonised by sponges and rich in corals, Anse Dufour offers an enchanting setting with its brilliant colours and the array of species it shelters. Carried by a weak current, Anse Dufour is ideal for drift diving. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic La Baleine (★4.5) The visibility of its crystal clear waters, the richness of its biodiversity and its diversified relief make the Cape of the Whale one of the most beautiful sites of the South Caribbean. A nice drop off slides down to 25m. Cape of the Whale is favourable for drifting, starting in particular from Three Airs Cove. Mares, Janez Kranjc Les Jardins de Salomon (★4.6) On the slopes of Cape Solomon, this site is composed of three coral reef. The first garden is a firework display of vibrant colours. Because of their richness and diversity, the Salomon gardens are a must-see in Anses d’Arlet. Mares Hepp’s Pipeline (★4.5) Hepp’s Pipeline features a fantastic sand patch and a beautiful mini-wall, stretching from 60ft up to 30ft. The pipeline itself is a remnant of an old waste disposal system that is no longer is service on Grand Cayman. The site is wonderful for finding juvenile fish and looking for macro life. Aqualung West Wall (★4.2) This site sits only a 30-second boat ride from shore but feels a world away. With an amazingly healthy reef structure and 3 sunken Spanish cannons there is plenty to see. Kay H. (#2592226) Punta Perdiz (★4.4) Located in the area called “Bay of Pigs,” Punta Perdiz is a very popular dive destination due to its conditions: easy diving and little current. This dive site is suitable both for beginners and expert divers. More advanced divers can slip over the wall that is accessible during the dive. O FIL DE L’EAU, 97217 LES ANSES D’ARLET Cap Salomon (★4.5) Following on from its land formation, Cape Solomon is a splendid reef made up of imposing rocks that gradually sink into the different shades of blue. The massive boulders, laid one on top of the other, give the diver the feeling of being a shrimp. Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas Navy Barges (★4.4) Navy Barges is a site containing two shallow barges that are a haven for marine life. They were used as accommodation barges during the 2nd World War. After the war, they were used as a Navy training area & finally sunk in 1961. The swim throughs are perfect for avid photographers! Aqualung Paradise Reef (★4.5) This beautiful shallow reef site has lots of hard and soft corals, schooling horse eye jacks, turtles or a sleeping nurse shark nestled among the reef. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Doc Poulson (Wreck) (★4.3) Doc Poulson is a purposefully sunk wreck as an artificial reef on the western part of Grand Cayman Island. This is a fun wreck to dive and a great night dive. Jacob L. (#2943087) Grouper Hole (★4.4) Football Field, Pine Cay Turks and Caicos boat accessible salt water dive site. Maximum dept 141-150 feet. The average visibility is 100 to 110 feet Aqualung Schoolhouse Reef (★4.0) A beautiful shallow site, Schoolhouse Reef is located near Lighthouse Point. It features a sloping top reef, leading to a mini wall that borders a wide sand channel. Take your time exploring the nooks and crannies of the reef. You never know what you might find. Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas Coral Bowl (★4.5) Fish Bowl is a natural sand-filled bowl within a ring of volcanic boulders, covered with gorgonians and filled with corals, sponges, sea rods, and sea fans more common in deeper water. This site does get to 70+ feet/21+m and therefore is best for more intermediate level divers. Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas Cow Rock (★4.5) Cow rock is one of the most recognized dive sites in St. Thomas. Small caves/swim throughs and beautiful elkhorn corals are the dominant features. It is definitely a favorite! Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas Stragglers' Reef (★4.4) Nicely protected on the lee side of Great St James, Stragglers is the perfect option on a rough, stormy day! The dive starts in a small, but very pretty, system of canyons where you can find great photo opportunities. There is also a beautiful reef wall section teeming with life. Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas Ledges of Little St. James (★4.5) This is a fairly easy dive made up of ledges and overhangs from Little St James Island that are teeming with coral. This site can also be a good snorkel and night dive opportunity with an average depth of 20-40 feet! Aqua Marine, 00802 St Thomas French Cap Pinnacle (★4.8) French Cap is absolutely a staff personal favorite dive site! It is close to the south drop, so there is always a surprise waiting for us; big fish and lots of them. This site is deeper than our typical sites, nearing 100 feet, and the dive takes place around a central pinnacle. SSI Service Center Southern Caribbean, Willemstad Playa Kalki / Alice in Wonderland (★4.4) Playa Kalki with the dive site “Alice in Wonderland“ is the most north-western dive site which is possible from shore. A beautiful reef runs parallel to the beach with large coral formations. The best diving depth is between 5-20m.Parking, restaurant, toilets and diving school are on site. Mares, Janez Kranjc Balboa (Wreck) (★4.6) The remains of this shattered skeleton of a 375ft ship wreck sank 1932 from a hurricane while carrying lumber. Because of its location in the main port of Georgetown, it was blown up and sunk to allow container ships to pass over the wreck. This dive site needs permission from Port Security to dive it. Geovanni G. (#2541306) Desecheo Island (★4.8) You have everything in this dive, from reefs to wrecks but you can only get there by boat. There is shallow diving, wall diving and reef diving. Depths vary from 20 to 200 feet. Mares Barracuda Shoals (★4.5) A great, easy dive in super clear water; perfect for beginning divers and snorkelers. This site is located in the Exumas not far from George Town and is named for the abundance of barracuda found here. Mares, Janez Kranjc Periwinkle Reef (★4.2) Periwinkle Reef is located off of the island of New Providence and maximum depth is 21-25ft/6-8m with excellent visibility most days. It is a boat accessible dive site. CARIBBEAN DIVERS - ASOBUCA, 15700 Boca Chica Cabu (★4.3) The dive site “Cabu“ is 10 minutes by boat from Boca Chica and well suited for beginners and advanced divers. Ideal diving depth between 15 and 25 meters. Beautiful corals and rich vegetation. CARIBBEAN DIVERS - ASOBUCA, 15700 Boca Chica Catuan (Wreck) (★4.5) The “Catuan“ is a tugboat sunk in 2006 with a length of about 33 meters. It lies at a maximum depth of 20 meters and is now a beautiful underwater habitat. It is suitable for beginners and advanced divers. Mares Palace Reef (★4.6) Cozumel Palace Hotel is an all inclusive five star hotel, from where you have access to the Palace Reef. Discover the depths of the surrounding waters of Cozumel and stunning marine flora and fauna on this reef. Ylenia F. (#2923314) Astron, wreck (★4.1) This wreck sits in 40-50 feet of water just offshore from Punta Cana and is a true shipwreck. The 300-foot Russian ship sank in 1979 while delivering a huge amount of corn to Cuba. It sits right offshore and thus can be done as a shore dive, with part of the ship still sitting above water. Ben A. (#3536434) North Point - San Pedro (★4.5) North Point is located on the northern tip of San Pedro and is a fantastic dive site for beginners and advanced divers. Due to its location at the tip, the site is exposed to currents at times and offers pelagic species. Mares Coral Gardens - Dominican Republic (★4.2) A great mini wall dive with the wall sitting at 50 feet.
