Kalli’s Reef is a site for boat diving. You can get there from the shore, although getting into the water is not easy. You leave the water in the middle of the adjacent dive site

Bon Bini na Kas (15) (★4.4)

This spot is only accessible by boat and the translation from Papiamentu is welcome home. It is a beautifully situated reef that is worth it both shallow and deep.

Petrie’s Pillar (24) (★4.3)

This spot owes its name to the pillar that Captain Don named after a friend as a wedding gift. The divesite looks very much like Andre I and Andrea II.

Captain Don’s Reef (K) (★4.5)

This reef is named after Don Steward, one of the diving pioneers on Bonaire. It is a beautiful reef with all kinds of small plateaus if you dive down the rig for a long time.

Sara’s Smile (★4.3)

Sara’s Smile is the house reef of Belmar Private Oceanfront Apartments, so if you dive from the shore you need permission. A nice reef and after the dive you will certainly emerge with a “smile“.

Seaquest Deep (★4.5)

A popular dive site that is quick to get to. It is one of the more commonly dived sites in Roatan. Sandy bottoms and plenty of life makes it well worth a dive.

La Jetée, Carriacou (★4.2)

In the heart of Hillsborough, the old town’s Jetty offers a very entertaining shallow dive. Full of life and an amazing great variety of species, from moray eels to scorpionfish. It will surprise you!

Mary’s Place is considered to be among the best dive sites on Roatan. Mary’s Place is full of coral and swim-throughs and is teeming with life which won’t disappoint any diver.

Purple Rain (★4.6)

Named for the Ubiquitous Creole Wrasse found here that tend to swim down on the approach of divers looking like “Purple Rain“. Reef is a mix of hard and soft corals giving a mix of things to be found here on a gentle slope from 10 mtrs / 30 ft to 70 ft / 21 mtrs.

1 / 4 Wreck (Stern Courier) (★4.8)

This site is the stern section of the Courier wreck in 11 meters / 35 ft of water, resting upside down with the Engine block and hull plates scattered around when it rolled from the top of the reef after falling off a transport barge.

Dragon Bay (★4.6)

Dragon Bay has a mix of sand, seagrass, reef islands and a sloping reef. A gentle current, if any, gives you plenty of time to explore its shallow area.

Dr. Grooms Garden (★4.7)

Shallow patch reef averaging 40 ft / 12 mtr. Covered in soft corals with a hard coral substrate and lots of holes. Generally mild current allowing lots of time to explore looking for small critters.

Quarantine Point (★4.7)

Reef system with Tongue and bay type, top about 14 mtrs / 46 ft and bottom 75 ft / 22 mtrs. “Bays“ have sand, and flounders can be seen as well as Barracuda, drums and Scorpion fish. The “Tongues“ have Seaplumes and Porites corals growing and seem to be a favourite for Seahorses.

Spotters Reef (★4.7)

So named for the chance of spotting some of our weirdest critters here like Frogfish, Seahorses, and Sharptail as well as Goldentail Morays. Scarlet ladies, Purple Crowned Seagoddess’ to also name a few more.

Flamingo Bay Wall (★4.8)

Outside of Flamingo Bay is a wall 30ft / 10 mtr to 40 mtr / 130ft. Expect a current and a chance of large pelagics with many reef creatures on the edge / top of the reef.

Cement Plant (★4.8)

The Cement Plant is rated as one of the Top 3 dive sites on the West Coast of Barbados with a depth of 30ft. The pier offers ease for navigation from North to South and into the East if desired. Perfect for the beginner or experienced diver. Perfect for the underwater photographer.

Scotts Head Drop Off (★4.6)

An amazing wall that is absolutely full of colour! This site is usually visited as a second dive but it is full of life from over 30m/100ft deep to 5m/15ft deep. Lots of crevices and cracks in the wall make it a great macro site good for lobsters, crabs and shrimps. You can get current if you go outside the bay.

Soufreire Pinnacles (★4.5)

A series of pinnacles right in front of Soufriere Village that makes a perfect second or even third dive, as it is beautiful at very shallow depths.

Danglebens Pinnacles (★4.5)

A series of 5 pinnacles from 40ft/12m depth to 30m/100ft depth. Suitable for all levels but the start is in the open water and down onto the pinnacle at 40ft, there is no shallow area and there can be currents here. A topographical dream with lots of drop offs, valleys and pinnacles full of life.

Missing Link (★4.4)

This dive site is named because it links up Scotts Head Pinnacle and Scotts Head Drop off and was rarely dived in the early days. A great combination of walls and a shelf that stick out into the crater. Can have a strong current that you can use to drift the site.

Small Wall (★4.4)

Lots of purple sea fans and large hard coral formations. This beautiful dive site is opposite Barbara Beach across the channel into Spanish Waters. It is not an easy entry from shore but with its full overgrown coral reef, definitely worth it.

Punta Gorda (★4.3)

Punta Gorda is one of our further local dive sites. It’s name after the big rocky outcropping which it’s located next to. One of the more colorful place in the area.

Bajo Piñon (★4.5)

In Canales de Afuera area, next to Isla Afuerita, divers find a rock in the surface that mark the entrance to two different rock formations that allow divers start in a shallow area and then go for more deep and challenging bottom.

Atlantic Princess Wreck (★4.3)

This shipwreck is located in the Bayahibe area. It is a former passenger liner, 30 feet wide and 99 feet long, sunk as an artificial reef in May 2009.

Punta Argentina (★4.5)

Punta Argentina is one of the most popular dive sites in Coco, and well deserved. Around this pinnacle you can find everything from big encounters to tiny macro life. Depths range from 10m/30ft to 27m/95ft. Look above you not to miss the big schools of fish!

Punta Deseo (★4.5)

Punta Deseo, which translates as Wish Point, is increasingly living up to its name. We usually drop the anchor in the sandy area of the first part of the reef at about 6 to 7 meters. DSDs or Open Water students can dive the shallow area of the reef, while everyone else can reach depths to up to 18 meters.

5 minute boat trip from Coco Bay. A dive site suitable for divers from all levels. For beginners to enjoy the rich shallow areas, and more experienced divers to visit Rusty II, a small wreck which is located a bit deeper at 22m/70ft.

Escorpiones (★4.4)

Punta Escorpiones is located on a shallow ledge, with depths between 10m/30ft and 20m/70ft. The rocky features hide a ton of small critters, while the sandy area is a great spot to find some bigger life.
