This site is usually visited as a second dive but it is full of life from over 30m/100ft deep to 5m/15ft deep. Lots of crevices and cracks in the wall make it a great macro site good for lobsters, crabs and shrimps. You can get current if you go outside the bay. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Soufreire Pinnacles (★4.5) A series of pinnacles right in front of Soufriere Village that makes a perfect second or even third dive, as it is beautiful at very shallow depths. Mares Point Guirnard (★4.3) An easy dive for all levels. Sloping reef inside the headland is always calm but there can be current as you go around. After the turnaround the shallow reef is really beautiful. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Champagne (★4.6) The world famous dive site is more than just a volcanic vent of bubbles! A nice reef dive easy for all levels, a muck dive out in the sand and even an old cannon in the shallows. The bubbles are in 15ft/5m of water so they make a great safety stop! Nature Island Dive, 00190-8000 Soufriere Scotts Head Pinnacle (★4.8) Everyday you dive this site is a great day! One of the island’s most diverse sites with walls, swim-throughs, caverns, flat sand and large rocky fields full of life. The highlight is the large swim-through into the volcanic crater wall and into the volcano! Then you drop onto the wall and sit back and be amazed! Mares Craters Edge (★4.6) The last divable point of the volcanic crater! A spectacular pinnacle that juts out into the crater and attracts tons of pelagics and schooling fish. Most of the time your head is spinning trying to watch the fish action and you forget to look at the wall full of sponges and gorgonians! Scubapro, Stephen Frink L’Abym North (★4.4) A continuation of the dramatic wall L’Abym. It’s a mix of dramatic wall and great critters and macro on the wall also. Suitable for all levels as there is seldom currents and it’s protected from waves and wind as it’s so close to shore. Aqualung Chankanaab Bolones (★4.4) This reef is in front of Chakanaab Park. Mild currents make this a good dive for novices. The abundance of sea life make this an interesting dive for all levels, although it can be deeper in some areas (average 21m/ 70 feet) so good air consumption is important to maximize bottom time. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tikila Beach (★4.5) Located just south of town, this is a great entry point for confined and open water training. Max depth 20 feet and partially protected from the current. Also great for night dives & photographers. Adventures in Diving STX, 00840 Frederiksted Cane Bay (★4.6) Accessible from north shore road at Cane Bay Beach. 600ft/200m kick out to buoy at depth 25ft/7.5m, steep slope to 65ft/20m, then a vertical wall dropping down to over 2,000ft/600m. It’s a beautiful dive. Sometimes reef sharks at the drop off. Be on alert if you are spearing lionfish. Mares Shangri-La (★4.0) Easy, shallow dive site close to the Marina San Carlos. Huge wall with large broken boulders. Beautiful, open swim through. Can have strong swell. Aqualung Caribsea (★4.7) Caribsea rests in 90 feet/27m of water, approximately 15 miles northeast of Cape Lookout, North Carolina. The wreck is contiguous, largely intact, and sits on a flat, sandy plain on the continental shelf. DeepSee Adventure, 77580 Puerto Morelos Jardines (★4.5) Jardines is a diving point with a depth starting at around 12 meters or 38 feet where we can enjoy the coral fans that move to the sound of the current. Shark Dominican Divers, 23000 Bavaro Coco Reef (★4.3) Spectacular reef at 12 meters. Statues and a beautiful coral garden are both found here. Jardin de corales. There is numerous marine life with incredible colors. A great place for conducting training. Scubapro Weber’s Joy (17) (★4.5) Located at the “Witch’s Hut“. Good parking and easy entry from a stone path and across a sandy beach. Well sheltered. Great macro site. Lots of sponges. Culebra Divers, 00775 Culebra Tugboat (★4.7) The Tugboat lies in only 40 feet of water, but the area is surrounded by shallow reefs so caution is necessary when attempting to dive this site. Current can be mild to strong, and there are some limited penetration opportunities for wreck certified divers, hence the Beginner to Advanced rating. ←1...45
