It rests on its side at around 20m depth. It is known as ’Chicken Wreck’ due to its cargo of frozen chickens which can still find inside the wreck. Ran aground on 20/11/1976. and on 22/11/1976 All of ship crew was saved. Mares, Janez Kranjc Ann Ann (Wreck) (★4.4) Ann Ann is the largest wreck dive in Jeddah. The wreck is in very good condition and is suitable for intermediate and expert divers. The wreck is located between two reefs and reaches a depth of 30 meters and starts at around 14 meters. In 2022 in fell onto its side during a storm and now rests on its side. Aqualung 7 sisters (الشعاب السبعة) (★4.7) It is a group of 7 different coral reefs, the seven reefs characterized with very clear visibility and very distinctive marine life. Scubapro Jana Island (جزيرة جنا) (★4.1) Jana has multiple dive sites around it. It is a 40-50 min boat ride from Fanateer Marina. To name few, the north and south walls, Sabri reef, chandelier, Cocktail and Jana 2. The depth varies. The deepest point at the wall is 25 m but greater depths can be reached following the sandy bottom. Mares Ras Gomaa (★4.6) Very demanding dive site, connecting reef between Woodhouse and Jackson. This site can only be dived in good weather (almost no wind), but it is still difficult to estimate the current. Mares Kharar Beach (★4.7) Kharar beach is a big dive spot. the dive site had easy entrance in water. coral reef line not visited by many divers. fish in this spot is curious to explore divers rather than scared. the coral reef is far from any capital city or cause of pollution and is beautiful and healthy. Scubapro, Stephen Frink crazy eight (★4.8) the site is 26 km away from Jeddah creek, it features interesting reef formation to the north with shallow 7-13 meters of depth, while the south west of the site features a drop off that extends beyond 60 meters, the site has excellent visibility most of the year and has many features that excite divers. Scubapro Anas Reef (★4.8) Anas Reef is a coral island located in the general vicinity of Abu Tair area, the reef is healthy and has plenty to offer, sponges in the reef makes for clear waters year round for excellent visibility. sharks and rays are common site as well as all the typical fishes you expect to see in the red sea Mares, Janez Kranjc Long Reef (South) (★4.4) Long reef south reef is named because it’s the longest reef in Allaith region. it’s a long part of coral reef with decline 70-80 meters on the east and west side. It’s 55 km from the beach. contain south reef from 35 to 25 meter with decline everywhere Mares Malathu Island (★4.5) Malathu island contains plateau with 25 m long decline to 35 m. below is another plateau on 45 m and 60 m, there’s severe decline on both sides. locates south of malathu island.
