The Achziv Canyon is a long wall stretching from north to south parallel to the shore line, about 1km from shore. It starts at 10 meters (30 feet) deep and drops to 30 meters (100 feet).
Since the canyon is located in a marine reserve, it is teeming with life. Rays can be seen swimming or resting in the sandy bottom and occasionally turtles come to visit.
