Baarah Thila

A large plateau like thila, in the channel between Baarah & Hanimaadhoo, this dive site has provided opportunities to see everything from mantis shrimp to manta rays and even sail fish circling above. A large rocky plateau, covered in older rock and coral formations, the top sits at 15m, dropping off at its sides to 30m.

Everything from the typical reef dwellers, to macro species and large schools of fusiliers. Manta rays have been seen to frequent this thila, and sail fish have been sighted circling overhead.
