The Bird Island Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve located near Lake Munmorah - diving off this island is a great experience. Sandy bottom with rocky out crops to explore less than 20m depth.
Sandy bottom site with weed and rocks to explore. Sting rays on the sand. Ocean wobbegongs tucked into the rock areas. Macro creatures can be found on the rock and weed sections.
