Lake Palatinus is a mine lake, formed as a result of sand extraction in the 1950s. Its good water quality is due to the mining technology they started using at the time.
Freshwater fish like, carp, bream, and black scabbardfish are common, but we can also run into perch and catfish. Perhaps one of the most interesting creatures is the freshwater jellyfish.
