Kunnam Quarry

Great Wall (★4.9)

Wall of staghorn coral stretching for hundreds of metres. Surrounded by seagrass fields and soft sand. Slight surge requires good buoyancy skills to avoid the sharp coral.

Govind’s Garden (★4.4)

Fields of sea grass scattered with patches of hard corals. Great for beginners who want to practice buoyancy, finning and photography. Clear waters and no current.

Oasis, Tuticorin (★4.6)

Coral reef site surrounded by fields of seagrass. Great for beginners and training as there is soft sand and seagrass surrounding the site. Always present are schools of tropical fish: sweepers, angelfish, bannerfish, anemonefish and more. Site is surrounded by hundreds of seastars.

Green Mile (★4.4)

Scattered coral patches on field of seagrass stretching for a mile. Great for macro life and flora. Depths range from 6 to 8 metres. Just 5 minutes boat ride from shore its an easy site for all levels of divers.

Aqua House Reef (★4.3)

The house reef is just 20 metres from shore. A rich coral reef that stretches along the shore for a couple of a hundred metres and dropping down to just 5 metres, its a perfect place for beginner dives and snorkelling. Just kit up and walk into a rich colourful dive! So easy.

Kalpitty Slope (★4.8)

The dive site starts off in the shallows, around 8m and the reef starts dipping and sloping to 20m gradually. On of the healthier reefs laden with reef fish. The site bottoms out at 20m with a sandy patch.

Butterfly Valley (★4.7)

Just off the Airport, this site starts of in a nice white pristine white patch of sand at 10m with reef on both sides slow increasing in depth all the upto 24m till we reach the edge of the island forming a cliff with further drops another 10m. Current can go either way after the cliff depending on the tide.

Satelite Point (★4.6)

Shallow open water site with a nice sandy patch for skills surrounded with reef laden with fish. Lots of stag horn and table coral on the reef.

Scubapro

Oval (★4.6)

Shallow oval shaped pristine white sand patch where skills can be easily done. Surrounded by reef and coral which houses colourful reef fish.

Agatti Edge (★4.7)

The edge of the lagoon. Gently slopes from 8m to 35m and the a 12m wall leading to another gradual slope to depth. The slope has coral laden reefs with a few sandy patches.

Shallows (★3.7)

This is a shallow site in the lagoon of agatti island. Mostly used for try scuba experience and open water dive 1. It has a few bommies amongst white sand laden with sea grass.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

Trigger’d (★4.6)

Another edge of the lagoon of Agatti island. Gently slopes to around 45m. Few sand patches here and there which houses a lot, LOT of trigger fish. A few small caves too housing groupers.

Water Line (★4.3)

Another slope on the eastern side of the island. Starts at around 8m and goes all the way till 20m to a sandy patch. A slow drift gradually on either side makes this a nice and easy dive.

Eastern Jetty (★4.7)

Easy shallow dive site on the eastern side of the island close to the jetty. Starts from 6m and slopes down to 13m just under the jetty. Mostly dived as a check dive, is also used for open water dives 1 and 2 as it has some nice white sand patches for skills.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

Snapper City (★3.3)

Close to the eastern jetty, this tsunami buoy is the mooring line for this site. The broken reef starts at 14m sloping to 25m on the eastern side. The other 2 directions have a coral regrowing while juveniles reside there.

SSI Service Center India, 400709 Navi Mumbai

The Drop (★5.0)

This site is on the north eastern side of the island. Sandy patch starts at 24m all the way till 34m and then the edge of the island drop to around 48m!

Neptune’s Balcony (★4.4)

A fantastic deep dive on Agatti’s Western Reef. The slopes start from 20+ meter and the drop off is at 40 meter. The walls drop down to almost 60 meter after which pure white sands extend like an arena below the walls.

Manta Point (★4.6)

Just off Bangaram Island, this site is known to have cleaning station in the sand at 25m. The reef is sloping reef that is laden with boulder coral and gorgonians.

Parali Rim (★4.4)

This dive site is on the edge of the twin Parali 1&2 islands. Medium to strong currents can be expected but that brings out all the fish in abundance. Sloping reef till 25m, flattens out for little bit and then a 15m drop/wall.

Hard Coral Cafe (★4.9)

Starts at the underwater fibre optic cable line that brings 5G to Bangaram. Another sloping reef laden with hard coral. Gently slopes down to 22m and then it’s all sand.

Grand Canyon (★4.3)

A very shallow reef upto 10m creates a sandt slope till 31m and the a direct drop of a wall to say 60m. There lies a pinnacle not too far from the wall creating a canyon upto 45m deep. Lots of pelagics.
