La Carrera
On the east side of Isla de Lobos lays ‘la Carrera’, a white-sandy lagoon surrounded by black volcanic rocks at around 15m depth. Massive fallen rocks create little caverns and beautiful overhangs, while sandstone rock formation on the west side of the lagoon give the impression of a moon-like environment
We can spot stingrays (eagle rays in the summer season), groupers, trumpet fish, yellowfin jacks, amberjacks, barracudas, a vast variety of sea breams, porcupine fish and angel sharks
