Lazurny Quarry

Lazurny is a gypsum quarry, found in Ural, Russia. Max. Depth is 69 meters. Water surface area is over 1km. Water temperature starts at 4*C. Visibility is up to 30 meters, which makes the quarry a unique place for divers and freedivers.

Freshwater fish and larvae are represented here. Very few plants. Pines and fir trees covered with silt. Water transparency is unique.
