Naufragio Itapagé
The Itapagé ship was escorting the Rio de Janeiro ship when it was hit by two torpedoes, fired by the German submarine U-161. The wreck is adorned on the starboard side, with many pieces still identifiable. The main attraction is the passage between the two huge engines of the ship.
Being an artificial reef, this wreck presents a great concentration of fish, rays and some turtles. Some sharks can also be seen.
