One of the most famous diving site in Heraklion is the “Paximadi“ island. With a breathtaking wall which start from the surface and goes more than 60 meters deep very fast, great visibility and very interesting aquatic life makes it a great diving location for experienced divers.
The site hosts turtles, groupers, moray eels , huge sponges, and larger schools of fish like tunas , amberjacks or even dolphins.
