Piedra Ahogada

Piedra La Ahogada is a submerged rock to a depth of 25m whose top reaches 10m and is usually dived from the bottom in a spiral to its tip, ending the dive going up the reef to the left until reaching the sandy area where the boat anchors.

In the Piedra La Ahogada is usually in the background the Moray “Godzilla“, which is an eel about 3m long; You can also see the spiral corals typical of deep waters

Deep Diving

Deep Diving

With the SSI Deep Diving Specialty, you'll learn everything you need to dive from 18 to 40 meters through a combination of academic sessions and open water dives. You'll learn how to plan and complete deep dives safely and how to use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion, you'll earn your SSI Deep Diving specialty certification and be able to explore deep dive sites wherever you go. This SSI specialty is a prerequisite for some of the advanced dive programs, making it the recommended next step in your dive training. The Investment includes program registration, access to online academic material, supply of scuba tanks, training with an accredited instructor, an open water excursion for practice. It does not include equipment rental, beverages or towels.
