Accessible to intermediate to advanced divers, the cave lies at a depth generally varying between 15 and 30 meters. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Canalone (★4.3) One of the most interesting points of the shore of St. Stefano, since you dive between a canyon formed in the rocks. The walls of the reef are covered with red fans. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Croce (★4.3) A memorial cross lies on a sandy bottom at 32m deep. On the right hand side, a rocky ridge covered by red sea fans rises up to 24m deep. It is the best known dive of the shoal and takes its name from a commemorative iron cross over four meters high resting on the bottom about ten years ago. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia BR-20 Wreck (★4.7) It is the wreck of the only example of the Cicogna bomber still existing at sea, sunk on the night of June 13, 1945 on a sandy bottom at a depth of 47 metres. The BR-20 was equipped with two twin star engines of 1000 hp, each which still have their 24 cylinders. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Canyon (★4.1) One of the most interesting points of the St. Stefano bank since you dive in between a canyon created in the rocks. The walls of the rift are covered with red sea fans. Mares Pinnacoli (★4.3) Some big rocky benches form an interesting area to dive. Rich in yellow and violet sponges, often you con meet bunches of groupers. Max depth 34 meters. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Controfrati (★4.1) Dive similar to the Friars, but certainly much less frequented is also 'rich in dens and crevices where lobster octopus moray eels etc. are stationed. Encounters with shy sunfish are frequent at this site. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Saraghi-Imperia-18mts (★4.6) This dive is characterized by dry rocks which stand in a poseidonia garden, on a sandy backdrop, particularly rich in fake red mediterranean coral. Scuba Skills Update are also well trained here. Borgo Marina Diving a.s.d., 18100 Imperia Ratteghe (★3.6) Among a field of posidonia are several reefs that have become the lair of sea creatures. You can also see a huge part of the wreck of the Paris-London, which sank in 1800. Maximum depth: 12 meters. Navigation time: 5-10 minutes. Mares Shore-Beach-Spiaggia-Imperia (★3.9) A Diving Center and a Beach Resort, in one. Both located in the beautiful setting of Borgo Marina, conveniently around the corner one from each other. For those unfamiliar with Imperia, Borgo Marina is the first sailor district (in order of closeness to downtown). Mares Punta Falconara (★4.1) It is the southwestern tip of the island, also called "turtle head." We find walls and steps that descend to a depth of about 36 meters. Scubapro Punta Sciusciau (★4.1) Sciusciaù (the Blower) is the southeastern cape of the island, which owes its name to the hissing of the wind that channels itself into the folds of the rock. It is, in our opinion, the most unique and fascinating dive on the island with high biological and photographic interest. DIVING CENTER SERVICE NEREO SUB, 17028 SPOTORNO Tyfliss Wreck (★4.2) Wreck of a French transport ship sunk on a seabed of 50 meters in navigation position with the deck at around 42 metres, intact on the stern part and cracked on the bow part, this is clearly visible in the vertical position, two large open holds make it passable the entire wreck. Mares, Janez Kranjc San Guglielmo (Wreck) (★4.1) The wreck of the “San Guglielmo“ is a luxurious 1st class passenger ship that launched in 1911. It travelled the Italy-America route. Used as a troop transport, it was sunk on 08.01.1918 by a German submarine. It now lies on a sandy bottom at 29 meters. DIVING CENTER SERVICE NEREO SUB, 17028 SPOTORNO Secca di Marassi (★3.8) We are in Finale Ligure not far from the port, there is the Marassi shoal with a minimum depth of 24 m. maximum 35 m. a large panettone with a wall about 10 meters high towards the south-west and with a gentle slope towards the north-west, the cap from which the dive normally begins and ends is large and jagged. DIVING CENTER SERVICE NEREO SUB, 17028 SPOTORNO Secca delle Stelle (★4.1) A dive dedicated to beginners on a seabed that extends over a discreet extension between 14 and 24 meters where the best-known feature is a spectacular rock pyramid entirely covered in Parazoanthus. DIVING CENTER SERVICE NEREO SUB, 17028 SPOTORNO Capo Noli (★3.9) Sand esplanade that descends to a depth of 40 m interspersed with rocks and boulders that descend towards the bottom where there is scattered debris. After an initial gradual slope, the esplanade descends steeply to the bottom, almost forming a wall of sand.
