Robert Gaskin Wreck
The Robert Gaskin is a large, novice-friendly wreck south of Centene Park. Built in 1863, it sank in 1889 during a salvage attempt. A mooring line makes boat entries easy. Max depth ~70 ft, with swim-throughs and sheltered areas from current.
The Gaskin forms an artificial reef. Sunfish and bass spawn inside the hull, eels hide prey there, predators patrol at night, and young walleye gather near the stern.
