Rummu quarry

Rummu is a submerged limestone quarry and former Soviet prison. Much of the natural area of the quarry is under a lake formed by groundwater, and is situated next to a spoil tip. Very shallow. Maximum depth 14 meters but mostly you will dive at 5-7 meters depth. Visibility is about 15 meters.

Wide range of wildlife: wild cranes that pass through their migrations Plant life ranging from wild apple trees to orange-berried buckthorn to a kaleidoscopic range of wildflowers.
