Persia (Wreck) (★4.8)

Small cargo vessel (100ft / 30 mtr) sank in May 2018 on its way to Grenada, loaded with vegetables and sweets / snacks and personal clothing items. Sits upright on the seabed at 38 mtrs / 125 ft.

King Mitch Wreck (★4.8)

Large ex-minesweeper turned cargo vessel sits at 38 mtrs / 125 ft of depth, shallowest point is around 30 mtrs / 100 ft. 200 ft / 70 mtrs long, she is laying on her Starboard side and stern into the prevailing current.

Hema One (★4.7)

A 200ft / 70 mtr Cargo Vessel sank in 2011 on her way from Grenada empty of cargo, she lays on her Starboard side in 105 ft / 31 mtrs of water cross the prevailing current. The cargo hold has collapsed and now provides home to Lobsters, sharks and Cottonwicks.

South End (★4.1)

Southernmost reef in Grenada, shallow on top 30ft / 10 mtrs, slope drops to 90 ft / 24 mtrs lots of holes on top and on the slope with a fair chance of Sharks and Stingrays.

Shark Reef - Grenada (★4.7)

3 mile long strip of shallow reef, 30 ft / 10 mtr to 17 mtr / 50 ft, which is home to many small nurse sharks. Being the Atlantic this can have 4 kt currents on it although we do try to avoid diving there at those times.

Lighthouse Reef - Grenada (★4.6)

An exposed Patch reef with large rocks and overhangs which may be hiding large nurse Sharks. 45ft / 13 mtrs - 75 ft / 22 mtrs. Large seafans, otherwise mostly a hard coral reef.

Glovers Reef (★4.7)

Similar to Shark reef in make up except it is 25ft / 8 mtrs to a maximum of 45ft / 15 mtrs. Again many holes to look in (carefully!) as it is slightly shallower you can see drums and smaller eels including the elusive chain moray.

Glovers Island (★4.7)

Very shallow 6m / 20 ft, mainly sandy bottom. Very good area for Eagle and Stingrays with the elusive Trunkfish seen occasionally. If you look carefully you can see a scorpionfish or 2.

Stingray Alley (★4.3)

A long sand channel extending from the Northern most tip of Lighthouse reef averaging 34 ft / 11 mtrs. Large sections of seagrass and random barrel sponges and rocks provide cover for many creatures.

Grand Canyon - Grenada (★4.4)

This is actually 2 separate sites, one is called Kapsis due to the wreck that sank on the inside edge in 2005 and the actual Grand Canyon site which is another rock island sitting 1 / 4 mile away. Depth maxes at 70ft / 21 mtrs although the top of the reef is only 15 ft / 5 mtrs.

Grenada (★4.1)

PURE GRENADA is a Jewel in the Windward Islands, favoured with many wrecks, plentiful reefs and marine life below the water as well as Rainforests, Volcanic lakes, beaches and Waterfalls, not to mention the locally grown, and produced Rum and Chocolate, what else could you want in a Caribbean island.

Kohanee (★4.4)

The last section of reef before the Atlantic, this site has a wide depth range of 10 mtrs / 30 ft to over 100 ft / 30 mtrs in places although fairly narrow across the top. Due to proximity, it is arguably the “best“ site in Grenada for life and sponge and coral growth as well as marine life.

Magazine Reef (★4.2)

Shallow reef outside Royalton hotel, averaging 30 ft / 10 mtrs and max depth of 12 mtrs / 40 ft. Lots of soft coral and good place for Open Water Divers with a mostly sandy bottom.

Black Forest - Grenada (★4.5)

Named for the Black Gorgonians that are found from halfway down the 40ft slope to the bottom at about 73 ft / 21 mtrs. There are numerous holes and this also is the start of the large Orange Elephant ear sponges lending their colour to this magnificent reef.

Dr. Grooms Garden (★4.7)

Shallow patch reef averaging 40 ft / 12 mtr. Covered in soft corals with a hard coral substrate and lots of holes. Generally mild current allowing lots of time to explore looking for small critters.

Boulder City - Grenada (★4.2)

“Muck“ dive extraordinaire. Large Star boulders scattered across the slope with a sandy area at the bottom and large holes in the reef. Very much a slow dive looking for critters.

Spotters Reef (★4.7)

So named for the chance of spotting some of our weirdest critters here like Frogfish, Seahorses, and Sharptail as well as Goldentail Morays. Scarlet ladies, Purple Crowned Seagoddess’ to also name a few more.

Purple Rain (★4.6)

Named for the Ubiquitous Creole Wrasse found here that tend to swim down on the approach of divers looking like “Purple Rain“. Reef is a mix of hard and soft corals giving a mix of things to be found here on a gentle slope from 10 mtrs / 30 ft to 70 ft / 21 mtrs.

Whibbles Reef (★4.4)

This is a deep water reef with a mix of hard corals, large sea plumes, and larger sand patches / valleys. Top is 17 m / 50 ft and drops to 150 ft / 51 m. Due to the depth, lots of large pelagics are seen and if the current allows many smaller creatures too.

Grand Anse Beach (★4.7)

Dive site near Spice Island Beach Resort. Very shallow, with most of the dive averaging 10ft/3m, although if you swim out farther you can get to 12m/40 ft.

Bianca C (Wreck) (★4.6)

Bianca C is considered the “Titanic of the Caribbean“. It is the largest diveable wreck in the Caribbean. She was a cruise ship of the “Costa“ line and sank in 1961 after a boiler blew up and caught fire, as she was preparing to leave.

Kansas Reef (★4.3)

Named by a regularly returning diver who said, in the currents experienced there, that all the seaplumes moving looked like the cornfields of Kansas in the wind, this recently discovered deepwater reef 50 - 150 ft / 17 - 51 mtrs was so christened.
