Sandy Channel East Pit
Sandy Channel is a Nebraska State Recreation Area. Water depth is max 7,5m/25 feet is great for beginners but also enjoyed by experienced divers as well. Attractions include a plane, submarine, platform, scuba diving hippo, and more. Aquatic life includes bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, walleye, and turtles.
Slanting contour of a variety of vegetation and underwater structures provide homes and a gathering place for the abundant aquatic life.
