Silver Steps
★★★★☆
(474)
Another popular shore dive, Silver Steps is a sprawling rocky reef of gullies with sandy patches in between. Best dived at high tide when you can find up to 11m. A very scenic dive where you can also find the heavily salvaged remains of 5 German WW1 U-Boats including UB86 and UB112.
Kelp covers the site in summer where you will find wrasse, pollock, pipefish along with crabs and lobsters hidden in the rocky holes. Giant barrel jellyfish can also be seen here.
