Sunrise Beach

★★★★★ (1,272)

Entering from the shore of Barefoot Manta Resort, Sunrise beach follows a reef wall in two directions along the shoreline, with many smaller coral bommies covering the sandy bottom straight out from the boat channel entry point. A large coral nursery and giant clams also feature as part of Marine Projects.

Hard corals build the reef wall, with oysters, clams and whip corals filling in the gaps. Reef fish, like parrot, angel and goat fish cover the reef, and rays and eels frequent too.
