Just a stone's throw from the port of Argelès sur. Mer the Tavac rock lies at a depth of between 18 and 21 metres. Between 10 and 15 meters wide and more or less 300 meters long, rock and coralligenous mingle.

A wide variety of hard corals such as sea roses, false coral, Neptune's lace and others are present. You may also spot giant dories and banyulensis.
