He ended his career by serving as a shooting goal in Cavalaire Bay where he will eventually be sunk. Boiler and machinery had been removed beforehand. The wreck is laid on a background of sand and gravel. It is dislocated and comes in 4 sections roughly intact but interspersed with avachie parts.

There is little life, but its sheets are well covered with orange crusty sponges and yellow tubulars. There are also some lobsters, capons and banks of anthias.
