The reason for the sinking of the steamer Bahia was a collision with the steamer Pirapama, in which the cause remains a mystery. Today this dive is considered one of the most beautiful in Recife, with minimum depth of 18 and maximum of 25 meters. Many parts of the ship can be identified, and the ship is in navigational position.
On site can be found nurse sharks, rays, schools of very colorful fish, jacks, grunts and large turtles.
