Sand was extracted in the 1990s. It’s a private lake, and only select divers are allowed there. The area is unfenced but open to the public. Nice place in the Forrest
Owners should be treated with caution. It is claimed that divers leave a lot of trash there. Fire pits and trash are mostly left by non-divers.
