The famous Tegernsee, 50 km south of Munich, is over 700m long and is considered one of the cleanest lakes in Bavaria. Situated in the middle of a landscape conservation area, the Tegernsee offers shallow shores as well as depths of up to 72m, offering dives for every level of diver.
The clean water ensures a great variety of species: whitefish, pike, tench, char, trout, carp, pike-perch, and perch.
