Yonara Channel

Yonara Channel passes between Iriomote Island and Kohama Island, which is 6km long and about 500 to 900m wide. The current is constant and at times very strong. This is always a drift dive at depths of 9 to 30 meters.

The sandy soil is dotted with beautiful coral roots that are swarming with sea breams. In addition to manta rays, there is a high probability of encountering big fish such as cod, rays, catfish shark, green turtles and more.
