Join us to discover one of the most fascinating dives in the Mediterranean Sea at the Banco di Santa Croce, a majestic sandbar in the Gulf of Naples that rises from a depth of about 50 m to 9 m, offering an underwater environment of extraordinary biodiversity and spectacular beauty.
This dive site, one of the most popular and highly regarded, features seabeds teeming with life: walls covered with gorgonians and colorful sponges, extensive colonies of Parazoanthus, and an abundance of marine life that varies with the seasons. In the summer, you can observe schools of sardines, tuna, and snappers on the hunt, as well as eagle rays and large resident groupers. As the weather turns colder, the shoals come alive with leopard shark eggs among the gorgonians, as well as conger eels, musdee, and Gerardia savaglia.
Trips are organized as day trips or weekend diving excursions from a dinghy, with opportunities for underwater video practice and fin swimming. The depth and characteristics of the site make it suitable for certified divers of various levels, from Advanced Open Water Diver and up; the variety of species and underwater scenery guarantees an unforgettable experience for those who love exploring the seabed.
