As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom time and safety margins, and reduce your surface rest time. This gives you more time to explore your favorite dive sites and less time waiting for your next dive. In this program, you will learn how to safely plan and dive with gas mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen while learning new skills and increasing your dive knowledge. Upon completion of this course, you will be eligible for SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

Become a Scuba Instructor and Live Your Passion! To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must be a Certified Divemaster or equivalent. This comprehensive program is part of SSI's two-step instructor training approach. It begins with an instructor training course followed by a combination of immersive digital learning; after completing the ITC, students take the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor.
