After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

The SSI Science of Diving Specialty course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. The course serves as the foundation for most SSI Professional courses as well as for some Extended Range courses and is an essential component for deepening your diving expertise. This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. The second part of your journey to becoming an Open Water Instructor! After successfully completing the SSI Assistant Instructor Training, we continue with the Instructor Training Course part. We refine your training skills, teach you practical tips and tricks for teaching independent divers and optimally prepare you for the upcoming exam, the Instructor Evaluation. In the SSI Basic Diver course, you’ll learn the skills and knowledge to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI professional.
