SSI Open Water Diver Become an Independent Diver This course leads to the SSI open water certification (basic certification). After successful completion of the course you will receive a worldwide recognized certificate. You will dive independently and at your own responsibility with your diving partner to a depth of 18 meters. You learn on this course In the SSI Open Water Diver course you are trained to become an independent diver with equipment. In 6 theory modules you will be taught the principles of diving physics, diving psychology and planning the diving trip dive. In pool-like conditions, all the basics of diving with equipment are practiced which are then used during 4 open water dive tour dives. SSI certification Night Diving & Limited Visibility In this program you will learn the skills and methods to dive safely and relaxed when visibility is limited or it is dark. Some of the ocean's most amazing creatures only show themselves after dark. So your diving day doesn't end when the sun goes down. You will learn how to enter and exit the water, how to use special equipment (such as dive lights ) and how to communicate and dive with a buddy when it is dark or visibility is limited. This program gives you the skills and knowledge needed to perform dives from shore, in currents and in different types of waves. The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

Extend Time Underwater This course covers the handling and use of Nitrox mixtures up to 40% oxygen.
