Deep Diving

The SSI Try Scuba program is your introduction to the underwater world. This entry-level program offers you the opportunity to experience the underwater world in a confined water environment. You will be awarded the SSI Try Scuba certification. All you need is a swimsuit/trousers and a towel! Try scuba diving takes place from Monday to Friday - daily by appointment. On Saturdays & Sundays the following times are possible: 1, 3 & 5 p.m. Age: from 8 years (8 - 12 only VIP possible) Participants per group: 4 persons + 1 diving instructor Duration: approx. 2 hours Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim, depth limit of 5 meters After the trial dive you pay € 39.00 less when registering for the beginner course "Open Water Diver". This offer is valid for registrations within 4 weeks and only applies to original monte mare vouchers/course fees, not to cooperation vouchers and not in conjunction with reduced course prices. The price includes the rental of the necessary equipment and admission. (If the time is exceeded, an additional fee of € 2.50 per hour will be charged).

Diving skills easily become rusty and after a while you lose confidence in your own abilities. An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way of refreshing your diving skills, but often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don't want to worry about your skills on your diving vacation and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before open water dives. The flexible course duration allows you to take your time and concentrate on your weaknesses.

Your Total Diving System is like a good partner underwater. The Equipment and Technique Program teaches you how to properly care for your equipment and perform minor repairs to maintain perfect functionality and extend its life. It covers how to choose the right equipment to achieve your personal diving goals. It also goes into detail about the correct fitting and adjustment of equipment. As your own equipment grows, so does your interest in how it works, how to care for and maintain it correctly and how to carry out minor repairs. This knowledge not only extends the service life of the diving equipment, but also contributes to the safety and self-confidence of every diver.

As a dry suit diver you can dive warm and comfortable in cold waters all year round. Only dry suit diving opens up the special underwater landscapes of cold water to you: dives on the icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places teeming with life despite the cold. Dry suits are also great if you dive several times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of the cold, wet wetsuit each time, the dry suit diver simply leaves his suit on. The best way to dry suit dive is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here you will gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes how to use the special equipment and how to deal with difficult situations and problems with the dry suit. At the end of the course you will receive the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.

Good buoyancy control can only be achieved with the right training. The Perfect Buoyancy program improves your buoyancy underwater, reduces your effort and your air consumption. Good buoyancy control is also the best active environmental protection for the underwater world. Perfect buoyancy is also the basic requirement for almost all specialty programs, making Perfect Buoyancy a must for every ambitious diver. The program is taught in conjunction with 2 dives and all basic skills are trained and perfected in practice and further techniques are learned.

The Scuba Skills Update program gets you back "underwater" easily and quickly! You will benefit from participating if you: have not been diving for a long time as a certified diver. want to refresh your diving skills and knowledge. A Scuba Skills Update offers you the opportunity to review and practice the basic diving skills you learned in your original Open Water Diver program. After a longer break, the Scuba Skills Update is an ideal way to re-enter the world of diving and is often a prerequisite for continuing your diving training. Your instructor will go through the basic diving theory with you again before you hone your diving skills in the 28°C diving pool. The Scuba Skills Update includes a theory lesson and two accompanied dives. Afterwards, you can spend the rest of the day practising and consolidating your newly acquired skills in the diving pool on your own

Want to get the most out of your dive time and have fun underwater? Then discover diving with a DPV/dive scooter. In this course you will learn the skills and procedures to plan and carry out such dives safely. You will learn about the special precautions for using scooters/DPVs, how to stay in contact with your dive buddy, how to check the rest of your equipment and how to enjoy your new diving experience with a DPV safely! Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Scooter/DPV Diving Specialty certification and be able to dive with a scooter/DPV to a depth of 30 meters.

Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

The SSI Open Water Diver course is your introduction to the exciting world of scuba diving. Whether you are drawn to the tropical reefs of Egypt or the depths of the German lakes, you will learn the basics in a safe environment that will enable you to explore these fascinating ecosystems beneath the surface. The modern digital SSI course material makes it possible for you to learn the theory at home and according to your own schedule. But don't worry, your instructor will go over everything with you and discuss any questions you may have. Our OWD courses teach you in 3 days all the necessary skills a beginner needs to feel safe underwater - and all this in our pleasant 28 degree and 10 meter deep diving pool. On the 4th day we go to a diving lake and apply the newly acquired knowledge under real conditions. On completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Open Water Diver certification, which is valid worldwide. New - We give you the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course for free with your OWD. Become your own buddy and an even safer diver! Every diver is familiar with the buddy team principle of diving, which has established itself as the safest way to dive. However, there are reasons why experienced divers opt for solo dives (e.g. for taking photos). Even if you don't have your "own" buddy with you and don't know your assigned buddy, or even if you lose sight of your buddy underwater, you will feel much more comfortable if you can help yourself by training to become an SSI Independent Diver. During the SSI Independent Diver course, you will learn about the potential risks of solo diving and develop the skills necessary to dive safely and responsibly on your own. By becoming an Independent Diver, you will also become an even stronger buddy for your diving partners. The course teaches you which special equipment is useful and necessary and how you can help yourself in various situations. On completion of the course you will receive the SSI Independent Diver certification. The first day of the course takes place at monte mare, on the second day we go to a lake.

Darkness is good for diving, because darkness reveals amazing wildlife that can only be experienced as a night diver. Join the SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty program to learn everything you need to know to dive safely at night or in limited visibility. Night dives and low visibility conditions require additional skills to keep you safe in the dark. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty program is the best way to learn all about night diving and practice the techniques necessary to make you a safe and confident night diver. This program will give you all the knowledge and skills to dive safely and relaxed at night or in limited visibility conditions. In a balanced mix of online lessons and open water dives, you will learn how to use special equipment, the correct entry and exit techniques and how to communicate with your dive buddy at night and in limited visibility. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certification and be ready to dive into the dark with confidence. The dives are conducted at a lake.

In this beginner course, you will learn everything you need to conduct freediving dives to a depth of 5 meters in a pool/limited open water together with a buddy. Through a combination of online training and practical sessions, this course provides you with all the skills and knowledge you need. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Basic Freediver certification.

Are you passionate about diving but your back is not happy with the heavy equipment? Take the weight off your back by participating in the SSI Sidemount Program. In this course, you will learn the proper sidemount setup and the techniques needed to dive a sidemount configuration efficiently and effectively. A sidemount configuration is also the best choice for exploring overhead environments, such as developed cave systems and large wrecks, as it can be challenging to navigate these sometimes confined spaces with traditional scuba gear. However, by improving streamlining with a sidemount configuration, adventurous divers can gain more freedom and explore tighter spaces. Upon completion of this program, you will receive SSI Sidemount certification.

This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a given point and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification. Many of the most exciting and fascinating dive sites are deep. Without the right training, deep diving can be risky. The Deep Diving Program provides you with the necessary knowledge and experience to conduct deep dives safely and relaxed. Follow the call of the deep! Unfortunately, deep dives are often carried out without the necessary preparation and planning and can quickly become an incalculable safety risk. It is therefore absolutely essential to have the right knowledge to be able to carry out deep dives safely. The SSI Specialty Deep Diving course provides the skills, knowledge and experience to make deep dives safely. Age: from 15 years Duration: approx. 2 days Prerequisite: OWD 30 dives required

To become a safe and responsible diver, it is important to master the basic rules of navigation. During the 2 dives of your navigation program, you will learn different ways to orient yourself underwater using a compass or natural navigation to determine directions and distances. You will navigate different courses and search patterns, find different marker points and learn how to return to your starting point. The dives are carried out on a lake.
