The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become an ambassador for diving by completing the Divemaster program. All you need is 40 verified dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 verified dives in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. Upon successful completion of the Divemaster program, you will be certified as a Dive Guide. If you want to turn your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, your next step is the Divemaster upgrade with at least 60 logged/verified dives. You can upgrade to Divemaster immediately or later by studying the Science of Diving materials yourself and passing the Digital Final Exam, which makes you an SSI Professional. From January 2022 until the end of the year you can attend all SSI specialties offered by us at Sharktime, such as Wreck, Adv. Wreck, Night, Boat, Sidemount, Deep, Navigation, Photo & Video, Scooter, Equipment Technique, Nitro ( Levl 2), Perfect Buoyancy, etc........ The training courses take place in Austrian lakes and, on request or on selected dates, also in Croatia. 4 specialties and 24 dives automatically qualify you as an Advanced Open Water Diver with SSI and 4 specialties and Stress & Rescue with 50 dives qualify you as an SSI Master Diver.

The main goal is not to eliminate the buddy system, but to learn maximum personal responsibility, advanced self-rescue techniques, and the safe use of redundant equipment (such as pony tanks or dual sets)

What has long been practiced in wreck and cave diving is now being discovered by more and more recreational divers. Specialized training is required to conduct this type of dive safely. Unfortunately, these very dives are often carried out without the necessary preparation and knowledge, which frequently leads to safety risks. Therefore, it’s essential to have the proper knowledge to conduct recreational sidemount dives safely. During the practical sessions, you’ll learn how to configure your equipment and handle it in the water. The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training.
