The Assistant Instructor course is the next logical step on your path to becoming an Instructor, following the Divemaster course. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons, and lead practical dive training. If you want to advance your career as an SSI Professional, you can complete the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation, and qualify as an Open Water Instructor.

This certification is recognized worldwide and is the best way to become a qualified diver on an adventure that will last a lifetime. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and can explore the most beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. Dry suits are also great when diving multiple times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of a cold, wet wetsuit every time, dry suit divers simply keep their suits on. The best way to get into dry suit diving is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here, you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes handling the specialized equipment as well as learning how to deal with challenging situations and problems involving the dry suit. At the end of the course, you’ll earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification.
