Description
Come discover the marine life, the rocky coves of Cap d’Antibes, its underwater world, and the history of the French Riviera with friends or family.
On the agenda: 8:30–9:00 a.m.: Welcome at the center. An overview of the day’s program, equipment distribution, and an introductory session on the Western Mediterranean marine environment while still at the dock. 9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Offshore sailing with observation and education about the pelagic ecosystem; opportunity to see marine animals from the Pelagos Sanctuary (cetaceans, sunfish, etc.) in accordance with the HQWW® label’s approach guidelines: no entering the water in the presence of the animals. 12:30 PM–2:30 PM: Snack and educational session on the coastal ecosystem in the Baie des Milliardaires at Cap d’Antibes during a snorkeling excursion. 2:30 PM–3:30 p.m. Sailing along the coast, with visits and stops at various notable coastal sites: Anse de l’Argent Faux, the Garoupe Lighthouse, the ramparts of Old Antibes, Port Vauban...
