Enriched Air Nitrox Level 2 (40%)

As a Nitrox diver, you can extend your bottom times or safety margins and, of course, shorten surface intervals—so you can spend more time exploring the dive sites you love most and less time waiting! In this program, you’ll learn new skills and expand your diving knowledge while learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

Drysuit diving opens up a world of possibilities, including diving to remote Arctic destinations and cold-water dive sites teeming with life. Diving in a dry suit is also a great way to stay warm on days with multiple dives, when you don’t want to spend time putting on and taking off a cold wetsuit. The SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty program is the best way to become a dry suit diver and teaches you all the knowledge and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. You’ll learn how to use specialized equipment, such as dry suits and jackets, the benefits of dry suits, and how to handle emergency situations while wearing a dry suit—which are unique to this type of diving. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty Certification.
