- Teamwork mindset — candidates must be able to collaborate with staff, fellow candidates, and real students during teaching evaluations.
- Crossovers welcome — candidates from other agencies may need additional SSI-specific workshops.
- Pre-course evaluation — some centres (including yours) run a skills and knowledge check to ensure readiness.
- Insurance — professional liability insurance required before teaching evaluations (DiveAssure or DAN recommended).
