Under the guidance of an SSI professional, this refresher course allows you to review and practice the diving techniques you learned during your Open Water Diver program. It’s an ideal course to take when you arrive for a diving trip if your last dive was several months or even years ago... This ensures you can make the most of your trip safely and with confidence. If you’re an uncertified Open Water diver (pool training), the refresher course is also ideal for practicing your skills before your Open Water training dives in the ocean. Since the course duration isn’t fixed, you can take your time and focus on the skills where you need the most help.

The SSI Deep Diving specialty will teach you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters, through a combination of classroom sessions and open-water dives. You’ll learn how to safely plan and execute your deep diving adventures and how to use dive computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion of this course, you’ll earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore magnificent deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI specialty is also a prerequisite for certain advanced courses, making it the logical next step in your diving training. This course is a must for enjoying some of Corsica’s most beautiful dive sites.

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty is the best way to improve your buoyancy and get the most out of every dive. Buoyancy is an essential diving skill, but any diver will tell you that it takes time to master. The Perfect Buoyancy specialty will teach you advanced buoyancy skills and techniques, so you can master your buoyancy faster and enjoy more relaxed diving adventures. In this fascinating program, you’ll also learn new skills that protect the environment and work in all diving situations. Upon completion of this course, you’ll earn the SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty certification. With better buoyancy skills, you’ll soon be able to glide effortlessly and take the underwater photos you’ve always dreamed of!

In this specialty program, you will develop the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, leave and return to a designated point, and basic navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All of this sharpens your underwater observation skills, improves your dive safety, and helps you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of this course, you will earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

The perfect way to experience the best of diving in just one afternoon. After an introductory session, you’ll deepen your experience and have the opportunity, if you wish, to share your first dive with family or friends. With the SSI Basic Diver program, you’ll learn the skills and knowledge needed to dive to a depth of 12 meters with an SSI Professional. It’s a great way to explore the underwater world more deeply by trying out diving. The entire Basic Diver program can be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programs within 6 months, so you can move on to the next stage of your diving adventure.

As a Nitrox diver, you can extend your dive times and safety margins, and shorten your surface intervals—so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you’ll learn new skills and expand your diving knowledge while learning how to plan and dive safely with enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of this program, you’ll earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.
