Are you ready to push the dive tables to the limit? This program intends to provide scuba divers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct trimix diluent decompression dives to up to 60 meters / 200 feet deep, using a closed-circuit rebreather and a minimum of two bailout cylinders. It builds upon ingrained basic rebreather skills and develops a more problem-solving attitude and approach, facilitating longer decompression dives.
This challenging SSI certification develops CCR rebreather divers’ ability to think and respond to emergencies as well-rounded, competent rebreather divers. With safety at the forefront of the SSI training philosophy, this unit-specific program provides more in-depth academic topics such as gas density to enable safe dive planning. With training available on either a rEvo, JJ, SF2, AP, or Poseidon rebreather, this unit-specific program, SSI increases diver safety by only using trimix as the breathing gas to reduce gas density.
