Night diving requires different skills than daytime diving. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty is the best way to learn night diving and practice the techniques needed to become a safe and confident night diver. In this course, you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills needed to dive safely and comfortably at night or in conditions of limited visibility. Through a combination of online learning and open-water training dives, you’ll learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and communicate easily with your dive buddy at night or in conditions of limited visibility. Upon completion of the course, you’ll earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty certification and be ready to dive at night with confidence.

The SSI Technical Extended Range course program builds on the skills and techniques learned as an Extended Range Trimix Diver. During this course, you will go beyond the no-decompression limit, increasing both the depth and duration of your dives. Using technical equipment and either an XR Sidemount or a Twin-Tank Full-Body Diving System, the Technical Extended Range course provides avid underwater explorers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct gas-mix dives with unlimited decompression to depths of 60 m.
