As a deep diver, you have the unique opportunity to explore some of the world's best dive sites and most popular marine life. There is so much waiting for you in the deep blue sea. In a balanced combination of theory sessions and open water dives, the SSI Deep Diving Specialty course will teach you everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters. You will learn how to plan and safely conduct your deep diving adventures and how to get the most out of your deep dives with the help of dive computers and gas consumption calculations. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore the most beautiful deep dive sites wherever you want. The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training. Diving skills easily become rusty and after a while you lose confidence in your own abilities. An SSI Scuba Skills Update will get you back in the water and back to your old strength in no time at all. In the refresher course, you repeat and practise the diving skills from your Open Water Diver program under the guidance of an SSI professional. However, a scuba skills update is not only a relaxed way of refreshing your diving skills, but often also a prerequisite for resuming diving training after a break. If you don't want to worry about your skills on your diving vacation and would rather enjoy the underwater world instead, take the course shortly before your trip. The course is also ideal for Open Water Diver students to consolidate their diving skills before open water dives. The flexible course duration allows you to take your time and concentrate on your weaknesses.

This specialty course provides you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn the correct use of the compass, natural navigation techniques, estimating distances, leaving and returning to a given point and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will sharpen your underwater observation skills, increase your diving safety and help you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

Do you want to get the most out of your dive time and have real fun underwater? Then discover diving with a DPV/dive scooter. In this course, you’ll learn the skills and procedures needed to safely plan and conduct such dives. You’ll learn the specific precautions for using dive scooters/DPVs, how to maintain contact with your dive buddy, monitor your other equipment, and safely enjoy this new diving experience with the DPV! Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive the SSI Scooter/DPV Diving Specialty certification and will be able to dive to depths of up to 30 meters using a dive scooter/DPV.

Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

Night Diving & Limited VisibilityNight dives require skills that are very different from those needed for daytime dives. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty Course is the best way to learn everything about night diving and practice the necessary techniques that will make you a safe and confident night diver. This course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills needed to dive safely and comfortably at night or in conditions of limited visibility. Through a balanced mix of online learning and open-water dives, you’ll learn how to use specialized equipment, the correct entry and exit techniques, and how to communicate with your dive buddy at night and in conditions of limited visibility. Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility Specialty certification and will be ready to dive into the darkness with confidence.

The SSI Snorkel Diver course lets you discover the fish in you! It's the perfect way to learn to snorkel, gain courage and confidence in the water and explore the fascinating underwater world and its marine life. You don't need to be an experienced swimmer to take part in the Snorkel Diver course and there is no minimum age requirement. You just need to feel comfortable in the water, be able to maintain your buoyancy and be ready to start the adventure of a lifetime! This course will familiarize you with the equipment and skills for your snorkeling experience and you'll even earn your SSI Snorkel Diver endorsement card!
